re: Mcgovern GMC Service experience I had my car fail right on Rte 9 and coasted into your dealership - Serpentine belt snapped.. Asked for the service department to repair. . Evan called and verbally estimated me $378 for the repair, I agreed and said that seemed VERY high price. he said he would look at it and when he had the parts price confirmed he would send a qte. The qte was for $332. I thought that was VERY high, googled the price of the part-$15 at Autozone....as high as $28 at other parts stores. I called the service manager back and asked why so high? he said parts were expensive $162 and they were probably sourced from the Nissan dealer(he lied)---I found Nissan sells the part at $54 MSRP. They also added a $27.50 disposal charge for the belt! I told him I was looking at a new Terrain and would not consider Mcgovern for the purchase of any vehicle in the future and that I would pay the bill and thanked him for taking advantage of me! When I got there I the bill had been changed to $247; no call or explanation price still more than double the average total repair price of @$100 for this type of repair....a simple belt replacement. More

I went to McGoverns last evening thinking of trading in my 2020 Envision for a newer envision. Ben was more than polite and helpful in every degree and I ended up driving away in a new envision . The result of their effort was Car Guard agreed that the engine should be replaced. The work, once it was approved, was completed on schedule. The dealership also provided a loaner vehicle for the duration of the service at no cost to me. More
First of all Angela was very helpful and professional. She made arrangements to have someone take me home and pick me up when my car was ready. She also took the time to explain what the technician would do to make the necessary repairs and gave me an estimate of what it was going to cost to do the job. But best of all when the repairs were completed she saved me a lot of money explaining that some of the repairs weren’t necessary right now. I know she didn’t have to do that. It’s nice to know your employees are looking out for the customers. You can be sure I will be telling my friends about how you’re dealership has the customers satisfaction number one. I bought my 2017 Acadia from your dealership in Mansfield about 3 years ago. The car has treated me right and the service was excellent.
