I went in to buy a new car while doing a trade-in. First of all, the first offer was way too low. I ended up on agreeing on 2/3rds of the market value. The car was appraised with my winter tires on. Before of all, the first offer was way too low. I ended up on agreeing on 2/3rds of the market value. The car was appraised with my winter tires on. Before I bought the car, I asked if I could switch the tires with my summer set for that car, and put on the winter tires on my new car. The sales person told me the tech service will have to get back on whether they could buy and put new steel wheels of the size of my winter tires on the new car. When I brought in the car for final purchase, I put the summer tires in the trunk and the tech service still wasn't sure if they could make the switch. Next week, when I inquired if they could, and reported bad scratches on the interior, I found out one of their technicians bought the car almost immediately, with the tires I wanted to re-use! At the same time, I knew for sure(I asked 4 other mechanics!) they could put steel wheels the size of my winter tires on my new car, yet they refused to do it, still, saying they were 'uncomfortable' doing it. Coincidence or not, this made me feel like there was a conflict of interest in the tech service. They should not be allowed to buy a used car with 'free tires' that I clearly stated I wanted to use, while they have the ability to refuse to use them. I asked my sales person to get my tires back and fix the scratches. He ended up stalling and not doing either. At this point, I do not have the trust to ever go back to that dealership and do not recommend anyone does either. Stay away from Hurlbert Toyota. More
I recently moved here from Western Massachusetts. I have always had my 2005 Prius serviced by the Toyota dealership. Now I get it serviced at Hurlbert. The Toyota service has always been very good however always had my 2005 Prius serviced by the Toyota dealership. Now I get it serviced at Hurlbert. The Toyota service has always been very good however I always had to check and reset the tire pressure after getting the service which includes tire rotation. At Hurlbert I found that tire pressure was exactly what the owners manuel suggested and I didn't have to reset the tire pressures. That tells me that the service is held to a higher standard. Thank you, Pete More
Tom was very helpful to me and the two AAA men who came to help start my car. He then stayed until after 7:00pm when I was able to get there and get into a rental car eh told would be there whenever I got to help start my car. It was an incredible experiece for both of us as neither AAA person knew what to do with a prius. More
The over all experience was great. Rick was friendly and the business office was informative and courteous. When I came back to have the inspection sticker put on there was no waiting which I appreciated. the business office was informative and courteous. The dealership is friendly and always available to set up a service time that is convenient for us as a company. They explain thoroughly the work that needs to be done. a service time that is convenient for us as a company. They explain thoroughly the work that needs to be done. More
I told Dave Gulliver that any new car I bought had to pass my "dog test," meaning my dog Oliver, an overweight golden retriever, had to be able to easily manuever from the front seat to the back seat. O pass my "dog test," meaning my dog Oliver, an overweight golden retriever, had to be able to easily manuever from the front seat to the back seat. Oliver goes everywhere with me so this was very important to both of us. Dave let Oliver take the test in a Camry that was parked outside, and it went quite well, although a cloth armrest may have worked better to transition Oliver back and forth. Dave was very easy and fun to work with, and I also liked the financial officer I worked with. I felt he gave me good advice, and whereas normally, I am not easily influenced by salesmen and do not easily go along with their suggestions, I felt very comfortable following this man's advice and felt he had my best interests at heart in all that he said. I hate buying cars, and overall this was quite a pleasant experience. More

He told me exactly what they would be doing in the 15,000 mile check. He also told me approximately how long it would take as he knew I was waiting. My car was very dirty and he told me I could have a cour mile check. He also told me approximately how long it would take as he knew I was waiting.
