Hyundai is a great brand but the differences at McGee are the people and the customer service they bring to a business. Whether one is visiting the sales department or the service department, the customer i the people and the customer service they bring to a business. Whether one is visiting the sales department or the service department, the customer is made helped to feel like they are home and safe. The service department today though very busy with other customers serviced my vehicle in a more than timely manner and accomplished everything they said they would and more. More
The sales department was easy and helpful to deal with. However shortly after taking possession of our vehicle we noticed a rattle in the front end. I scheduled a service appointment to get the work addr However shortly after taking possession of our vehicle we noticed a rattle in the front end. I scheduled a service appointment to get the work addressed. We dropped the car off for service and never received a phone call after they had the car for the entire day. I contacted service at 4:00 pm that afternoon (our appointment was first thing in the morning) and was told the mechanic was just now bringing it in and they would be in touch. I never received a phone call back from them confirming whether the car was done or not. The following day I waited for a call in the morning and after not receiving on my wife went to pick the car up that afternoon. After having the car for two days we were told the mechanic couldn’t find any rattle. All you have to do is roll the passenger window down and drive down any Vermont road to hear it plain as day. When asked what the next steps were we were not given any direction and was told “I’m not sure”. We went to get into the vehicle only to find that the mechanic who did the work left the floor absolutely FILTHY with mud and dirt everywhere! I sent an email to my salesperson who immediately forwarded my concern to the head of the service department. He immediately contacted me and told me he hated hearing about this and seeing the photos and he would make it right. He offered to set up an appointment for me directly and offered me three free auto details for our troubles. I thanked him for his understanding and awaited his call to schedule the appointment to address the rattle that still wasn’t addressed. This occurred at the end of June. It is not August 1st. I have called and text the head of service numerous times and have had my calls ignored and received a canned response to my text with “sorry I can’t talk right now.” No follow-up, no appointment scheduled, nothing. I emailed the general manager yesterday and have still not received a response. This has got to be the worst customer service I’ve ever received from an automotive company. Im extremely disappointed. More
