I went in to the dealership for warranty work. It was the first time I was back in almost two years, because of a prior bad experience. The service department staff was exceptional. This past thursday my 2010 GMC Sierra with only 29,000 miles on it began running very rough! The engine light came on, along with messages advising to service the Stabilatrac, Traction Contral and that th miles on it began running very rough! The engine light came on, along with messages advising to service the Stabilatrac, Traction Contral and that the engine had powered down. The vehicle would not go past 1500rpm and no faster than 30mph while the vehicle was jerking in gear! I was pretty close to my house so I drove it home and contacted Mickey in the service department. This was around 3:30pm, Mickey had a tow truck at my house by 6:00pm and had lined up a rental car for me if so needed. Mickey explained to me that it sounded like the sensor for the throttle control and they had the item in stock. I had explained to him that I work 3rd shift and have my children to get to school the next day. Mickey assured me that my vehicle would be made a priority and they would fix the problem asap. I received a call from the service manager Nuno around 7:30pm informing me my vehicle was ready for pick up. At this point my children were already in bed sleeping so Nuno attempted to make arrangments to drop it off to me that night, but because they closed at 8:00pm most of his staff was already gone and it was inpossible. As promised Nuno had two staff members drop my truck off to me in Douglas which is probably 25 minutes from his dealership. This was an issue covered by warranty and they treated me like I was thier only customer, even though it was a pain to lose my truck for even a short period of time they more than made up for the inconvenience!! Great service and sales department!!!!! They are always friendly and helpful. Rebecca (service) and Dan (sales) have always accommodated our needs when we are there and worked with us on all our vehicle friendly and helpful. Car repairs are never easy yet Rebecca was AMAZING!!! Always professional, kept me in the loop- and made what could've been a stressful situation pretty much effortless. She was clear with her explanations, gave me the options I needed to make an informed decision, provided an estimate and trust me when I say, I have dealt with many service depts throughout the years and have never experienced the level of competency that I experienced with Rebecca. Even when I stood in front of her, phones ringing, customers waiting for assistance, and service men asking questions, she was calm, precise, organized, gave answers, triaged issues and I told her then and there how impressed I was with how she handled everything and everyone. Definately will be back (hopefully not too soon)and will spread the word. Thank you Rebecca and team. More
Rebecca is the best service person I have ever dealt with anywhere. She is friendly, knowlegable, and always looking out for the customer's satifaction. I stopped by on a rainy eve May 9, 2012 because my w anywhere. She is friendly, knowlegable, and always looking out for the customer's satifaction. I stopped by on a rainy eve May 9, 2012 because my windsheild wipers just stopped working while I was driving on a busy highway near the dealership. The service technicians had already left so Rebecca tried to see if she could fix my problem herself as I had a baby in the car and needed to get to my home safely as soon as possible. She could not fix it but diagnosed the issue and asked me to come back today and get the part replaced. She went out of her way to find a motor and then get it put into my car so that I could get back to my very busy schedule as soon as possible. I cannot praise her enough! She is extremely busy at this dealership and still takes the time to make sure you know your business is appreciated and you leave a happy customer.
