My husband and I went to this dealership after researching GMC/Chevrolet trucks on their website. We called in the morning and spoke to Scott. We mentioned the trucks that we wanted to see and s researching GMC/Chevrolet trucks on their website. We called in the morning and spoke to Scott. We mentioned the trucks that we wanted to see and showed the prices, and Scott said "that's not the actual price, that's the internet pricing". I replied ok we like this truck can you work with us. He was not willing to work with us. Mentioned we would pay cash. Didn't matter to him, they prefer financing... It was a very, very cold day. He did not really want to take us outside to see the vehciles because of the weather. We were shocked and said, I guess they don't need our business. Went next door to the Mastria GMC dealership and purchased a 2006 truck. We thank McGee for there advertising, as we would never have gone to Raynham, MA for a vehicle and they actually helped us find Mastria. More
Upon arriving at McGee Chevrolet, I encountered a very professional sales staff, which made me feel so comfortable that the feeling did not deminish from the start to the finish of the entire transaction. professional sales staff, which made me feel so comfortable that the feeling did not deminish from the start to the finish of the entire transaction. Everyone from sales to service left me feeling with such peace of mind, that I will definitely continue to do business with them in the future. I bought a 2008 F-350 from McGee Chevrolet in late July, 2010. Upon completing my sale, I was told that McGee would handle the registration as that was part of my down payment. (Fees and Taxes) After 3 w 2010. Upon completing my sale, I was told that McGee would handle the registration as that was part of my down payment. (Fees and Taxes) After 3 weeks, I still had NOT received my registration in the mail. In the meantime, my insurance company had cancelled my policy due to "nonregistration". I also was not able to get the vehicle inspected because it wasn't registered. I contacted McGee and after countless days and hours of my time, McGee giving me the run around lying to me and making excuses, avoiding my calls, no calling me back, I finally got the situation resolved. Turns out they forgot to have me sign a form and instead of calling me and telling me about it, they just ignored it and let it slip through the cracks. While that was going on, I was driving around a unregistered, uninsured, and uninspected vehicle, and when I asked them about it, they didn't give a xxxx. I was also supposed to get 4 new tires on my truck upon purchasing it, they only gave me two. I was supposed to get new brakes, and they didn't do that either. There was a plastic piece of trim for the top of the tailgate that they said they'd ship to me, and sitting here in late Sept, 2 months after the purchase of my vehicle, they have not shipped that to either. Upon noticing a hesitation in my transmission, a local Ford dealership where I took it to be looked at told me that the transmission fluid level was extremely low, and should have been replaced before I bought it. When I brought all of this to the attention of McGee Chevrolet, they told me I should have noticed it before I bought the vehicle. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! Do I look like a mechanic? Is it my job to climb under the vehicle and look around, pop the hood and check things out, check fluid levels and fix any problems I find by myself before purchasing the vehicle????? NO, IT CERTAINLY IS NOT!! In early August, the vehicle started leaking oil, and to no surprise, it was leaking because it did not have the correct oil pan. The Ford dealership I took it to said that they wouldn't touch it because someone had replaced the pan without listing it as warranty work and therefore they couldn't be held responsible. They said that the pan on the truck belonged to an F-150, and they could not figure out why it was on my truck in the first place. The shop foreman also pointed out to me that the engine had been replaced, but that it wasn't done so under warranty work because there is no record of it in the Ford Archives. After I contacted McGee to notify them of the problem, 5 business days went by before I could even get a hold of them. I called every one of those business days, and coincidentally no one was available to take my call or call me back. The customer service at McGee Chevrolet is absolute garbage. Now I'm in the process of contacting the Attorney General's office to notify them about the lack of customer service, I've contacted an attorney to discuss a lawsuit for Lemon Law, because McGee sold me a vehicle that has had the oil pan and engine changed out, but did NOT disclose that information upon my purchase, therefore making my warranty null and void. The entire process from day 1 had been a giant headache, and I strongly advise everyone to avoid McGee Chevrolet at all costs! The customer service is terrible, they lie to your face, they avoid your phone calls, they do NOT call you back, they are incredibly unprofessional, and it really seems that after they have your money in their hand, they could care less what problems or concerns you have. They will take advantage of you at every chance they get. It's a shock to me that they are allowed to run a business in such a manner. More
The first time I walked into this dealership they totally ignored me. I was not greeted at the door or at any time I was in the building or the lot. The second time I visited I was met by a young guy who s ignored me. I was not greeted at the door or at any time I was in the building or the lot. The second time I visited I was met by a young guy who said that he was new and his manager would have to help me. He took my info. and said he would call me that night or the next day. I never received a call. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone as they cannot seem to perform even basic customer service. More
We went into the dealer to buy a new Equinox. Scott said he would call us to have us come into do the paperwork as when we where there we did not do it. He called set up a time for us to come in. 5 mins bef he would call us to have us come into do the paperwork as when we where there we did not do it. He called set up a time for us to come in. 5 mins before we whew supposed to be at dealer he callsand said he needed to reschedule till the next morning as the finance guy was not in. He then calls the next morning 15 mins before we where supposed to o pickup our new car and says one of the other salesmen sold it last night. Are you joking??? How could someone buy the car last night if you had to reschedule with us due to the finance manager not being in.Who wrote the paperwork. We after this and remembering how bad it was dealing with them the last time we bought a car there we decided to go to the Toyota dealer down the street from them and we bought a 2010 Toyota Highlander. I would NEVER go to McGee again........ They lie, the price you see online is Not the price of the car (its supposed to be what Mcgee paid for it ) why do I care how much they paid for it. Very poor customer service. More
Bought a new/demo Corvette (emphasized NEW by this dealer) and the car had been hit before I drove it home. Went back to discuss issue with the manager of the dealership and he told me "too bad you di dealer) and the car had been hit before I drove it home. Went back to discuss issue with the manager of the dealership and he told me "too bad you didn't notice it before you bought it." Took it back for the splash gaurds and they installed three of them, could not install the fourth because of the damage on the rear quarter panel. I took Imed "the Mgr" to show him the three splash gaurded Vette I now have, and again "I should have seen this before I puerchased this car". He told me he knew about this for three months while it was on the lot. When they did the splash gaurds they also replaced the passenger seat cover. when they finished, the seating foam was hanging out between the upright and the flat of the seat. I feel that I'm a victim of unethical practices. I have never had an experiance like this before. They got the money but obviously don't care about the customer after the sale. In short, this dealership has destroyed a once in a life time dream. I would not recommend this dealership. More
I came to Mcgee in their new location for a used car in my price range. They had exactly what I was looking for... Very friendly, and understanding. Once i got approved for the vehicle, and signed papers t my price range. They had exactly what I was looking for... Very friendly, and understanding. Once i got approved for the vehicle, and signed papers though, it went downhill. Phonecalls not returned. Problems with the vehicle that still arn't fixed, and problems getting a registration. Overall a decent experience, but the service department needs improvement. More
