DO NOT GO! STAY AWAY!!! My girlfriend and I made a deal on a used GMC Denali on a Sunday . We left a $500 deposit. Planned on picking the car up on Thursday. We called today My girlfriend and I made a deal on a used GMC Denali on a Sunday . We left a $500 deposit. Planned on picking the car up on Thursday. We called today to confirm delivery. The told us a story that there was a transmission problem and the SUV was being returned to the auction. I didn't believe them so I drove to McGee Chevy and found the Denali with a sold tag on it with a different sales reps name. I went to service to ask the service rep what he could tell me about this vehicle as we were the buyers (as far as I knew we were). He said that several bulbs were changed and the oil as well as the tilt steering was fixed... Passed the safety check and they had their best mechanic work on it. I then found the sales MGR (Ray) to confront him and he told me a different story than the sales Rep. He said that the Denali had a 4wheel drive issue and they couldn't sell it. After I explained I already spoke to the service dept he admitted it was sold to someone else and they didn't want us to be calling back and complaint about any issues. I asked to speak to the owner (Jamie) and he said he was in the sales office so I walked in and confronted him with the same questions. He confirmed the car was sold to someone else (not returned to the auction like I was originally told) and told me that they would find us another vehicle. Absolutely not is said. We left a deposit on this car. Your service dept says there is nothing wrong with it. We want this Denali! He said he wouldn't sell it to us. I then went to the MGR to get our deposit back but the owner came out and refused to refund our $500 deposit at that time and told me to leave the property. He also asked if this is how I conduct business with my own company. I explained I don't have to since when I shake someone's hand a deal has been made and I stand by my word, even if it ends up costing me money! It's called integrity! Something Jamie, Ray and McGee Chevy doesn't know the meaning of!!! Avoid this dealership at all cost. We should have followed all the other complaints we saw on line and the horror stories we've heard.. More
Smooth Sale, Terrible Post Sale Service Sale went fairly smooth, rather long negotiation though. After the sale we took delivery of our lease, and they lost the plates off of our trade-in. My wife called to ask for the paperwork stating we turned in the plates and they refused to accept responsibility for their mistake, instead blamed me and refused to help telling us to call the registry. We purchased two vehicles in two years from this dealership, I won't be back if this isn't remedied. More

I am a woman who attempted to buy a car from Mcgee. I am good at researching vehicles before I even think about test driving a vehicle for price, reviewed, etc. At first my experience with Mcgee was typical as any car dealer, but from the moment that I mentioned I was interested in making an offer on the car the dealer became HORRIBLE. I went alone, silly me, thinking I would be fine, this wasn’t my firs time buying a car and I had a lot of research behind me. First, offered a low estimate for my trade in, as 3-4 other dealers valued my car higher and once mentioned that, they would not compromise. They then kept my registration from the time they appraised my trade until the end of the night when I asked to have it back, they kept it a little longer to try to get me to make a deal in just one night. They knew I came far to make deal and wanted me to make it that night. I was completely uncomfortable, tired and irritated after being held there for 3 hours. When I continued to ask for my registration, they sales team and members from upper management said they “misplaced it” with other customers’ and had to go back to find it. I started to demand it back and raised my voice and after the 3rd attempt (at which if the next attempt were to happen) I was going to threaten to speak to a manager. They used the “3 on 1” approach on me to pressure me. Three different members (two of which included two higher management members) continued to come over and tell me this was a deal of a life time which it wasn't. At one point when I refused to make a deal, the sales manager actually rolled his eyes at me and walked away in disgust. They would not give me the any of the numbers expect for a “monthly payment”. They refused to give me the bank’s finance rate, the total amount I would have financed and the price of my trade in. This was the worst dealership I have ever dealt with, and I have purchased about 3-4 vehicles in the past. They basically used interrogation tactics to try and win me over and “earn my business”. Let’s just say, I walked out, even if they came back and gave me my deal of a lifetime after all that I went through, I wouldn't take it just because of how they treated me. I would NEVER recommend coming to this place unless you want to loose lots of money and have tremendous amounts of stress. More
