We bought a Kia Sportage X-line, and have been very happy with it so far. Travis was great and very helpful. However our time with Pollini Reed wasn't so great. We both felt pressured to buy the extended with it so far. Travis was great and very helpful. However our time with Pollini Reed wasn't so great. We both felt pressured to buy the extended service plan, as Pollini told us any remaining warranty left on the car basically wouldn't cover anything. I asked him if we had the remainder of the 6 year 60,000 mile warranty that came with the car and he said no. We had also told Travis we wanted to finance for 48 months, and when he showed us the amounts, we agreed with the 48 month payment. After our meeting with Pollini, and him pushing us to the extended warranty, he had changed our financing to 60 months which I failed to notice. Needless to say we weren't happy about that. Not once during this meeting did he say us adding the extended warranty would change it to 60 months. Just feels shady. More

While the overall buying process was average to slightly above average, I am bothered that the stereotypical F&I shenanigans happened. We were under time pressure because my wife's car had failed beyond rea above average, I am bothered that the stereotypical F&I shenanigans happened. We were under time pressure because my wife's car had failed beyond reasonable repair, and I was traveling for a week. She had to complete this deal on her own, and got talked into a very expensive (15% of the price of the car) EG Assurance extended warranty plan. On top of this, the dealership only provided the first page of each of the warranty plan sections, so we have no details about plan maintenance requirements and other important details we need to follow. This could leave us vulnerable to missing steps and procedures and give the warranty provider the loopholes they will use to get out of paying. As I do the majority of the maintenance on our vehicles myself, I have little doubt that EG Assurance will deny any and all of the expensive repairs this warranty is supposed to protect against. I need to call tomorrow to find out whether or not this policy can be canceled. Buyers, be on the lookout for, and stand strong against, being convinced by the F&I team that you need an extended warranty. More

I just had the most incredible experience at McFarland KIA to start off the new year, and I cannot recommend them enough! The thing that really set this experience apart was when Joel went above and beyond anything I could have ever expected. I had already traded in my old vehicle, but was scrambling to finalize my down payment processing at a local Walmart for a cashier's check. Before I was even authorized to drive off in my new Sorento, Joel actually loaned me his personal vehicle so I could get to the store and back to get everything squared away! I have never seen a person in this industry show that kind of trust and genuine care for a customer. It turned a stressful moment into a total win. I did not have a good experience when I first bought my car. I was at the dealership for 4 and a half hours. However, I am giving five stars since Adrian was awesome.
