Greg, We apologize that you feel the experience here was anything less than fantastic. We failed to recieve a call, email or text from you or your wife in regards to any issues before this review was posted. We would have happily explained that all extended service contracts are pro-rated and can be cancelled any time for any reason. You are correct about the cost of the service contract being about 15% of the vehicle. 10-15% is about standard in terms of cost and because of the hybrid powertrain and technology on the Volvo, coverage was at the higher end. We would be happy to provide paper copies of all contracts. You and your wife also were mailed out online log in information where you can view all coverage and contracts in full. We do our best to be fully transparent, fair and thorough in our entire operation but especially in our business office. I'm happy to speak more about this and aid in any cancellations personally. James, Thanks for your prompt response, and forgive the somewhat strident tone I set in my initial review. The more I dug into the little paperwork we received upon deal closure, the more frustrated I became, but that does not excuse the public rant. I have spoken with the EG Assurance customer service department, and have initiated cancellation of the policy. That said, as far as I know we have not received anything in the mail related to this warranty. Also, consider providing all pages of the warranty contract by default; I was dismayed to see that I had only one page out of nine in copy of the vehicle coverage contract we were provided. Thanks.
