I bought a new 2021 ford f350 there when it was Rochester ford now McFarland Ford. The clock spring in the steering wheel was making a clicking sound with 35160 miles on the truck it was brought in on 2-10-2 ford now McFarland Ford. The clock spring in the steering wheel was making a clicking sound with 35160 miles on the truck it was brought in on 2-10-23 the clock spring was replaced under warranty. Less than one year later it’s making the same clicking sound in the steering wheel and was brought in on 1-11-24 with 47,236 miles I was told very rudely when I called on 1-9-24 that I was 2 miles past the 12,000 mile warranty on there service warranty. I think it’s a complete embarrassment for ford and McFarland ford service department that my truck is going to need a third clock spring with 47,236 miles on it.When I told the service person I was very unhappy about it he rudely replied we thank you for that. And I said I will never buy another vehicle there he also replied we thank you for that also. Pretty bad business I’d recommend never going there for anything!! More
I continue to be satisfied with the service at this dealership. They are straightforward with any issues especially proactively. My Explorer is over 120K miles and is in great shape. The service was completed quickly and when they called to tell me it was ready, they told me abou I had my Edge in for a brake booster replacement. The service was completed quickly and when they called to tell me it was ready, they told me about the pickup/delivery service available. My Edge was delivered to me at work! This is the first time I've been to McFarland Ford of Rochester, but it won't be the last. I'd definitely bring my Edge back. More
I had my Escape in the garage for check engine light which kept coming on. A loaner was provided for my use while it was being fixed. After three times in the garage it is now fixed. Jason and the ser which kept coming on. A loaner was provided for my use while it was being fixed. After three times in the garage it is now fixed. Jason and the service department were committed to fixing my Escape no matter the problem. I am happy with the service at McFarland Ford both Sales and Service departments. More

McFarland Ford was great to work with and purchase a vehicle from. They didn't hassle me on using my own financing and overall I am happy with the sale. However, the Hyundai that I purchased stated in t vehicle from. They didn't hassle me on using my own financing and overall I am happy with the sale. However, the Hyundai that I purchased stated in the sale ad that keyless entry was an included option, and the dealership couldn't find the key to the vehicle when I came to look at it. The key I was given after the sale seemed like just a regular spare key and no key fob included. I understand that I could go to the Hyundai dealership and purchase a new key fob and have it programmed there, however this was not discussed at the sale, and I feel the vehicle should not have been advertised to include the option of keyless entry. I do understand that people are human and it is easy to lose keys. But, the salesperson could have told me that they needed an extra hour to take the vehicle to the dealership so they could program a new key fob for me instead of sending me away with a spare key that appears brand new and aftermarket More
