I left the dealership after having a piece of trim replaced and recall taken care of. The next day I get a text saying my car needed an alignment and my brake fluid needed replacing. Why was I not tol replaced and recall taken care of. The next day I get a text saying my car needed an alignment and my brake fluid needed replacing. Why was I not told about this before I left the service center?? Leticia called me about this and I told her on, 7/30/24, I was not pleased with the situation and she made notes in my file. She said I would be contacted by the service manager either later that day or the next he call me back. CRICKETS!! I guess I’ll be taking my car back to Southtown from now on. More
Has to be the worst dealer service center I ever used. Brought my car in on a Monday. They said they need 3 days for a diagnosis. I told them it only needed a software update because my icons on the HUD w Brought my car in on a Monday. They said they need 3 days for a diagnosis. I told them it only needed a software update because my icons on the HUD weren’t working properly. They never looked at it until that Friday. My Hyundai app says a door opened finally. Why bring it in for 3 day diagnosis, when they don’t even move it for almost a week. Picked it up, and HUD speed icon Still not working. Needless to say I had to bring it back a second time. They had it for three days never diagnosed it until that Saturday and I bought it in on a Wednesday. They did the software (that I suggested on day one because a friend had the exact same issue)update and now it’s working. They also need to repair the front seat ventilation system. They said it needed a part, And said it would be in on Monday July 15th. Kimberly, my service advisor called and let me know they did not have the part and it would have to be ordered. Three weeks later August 5 I have heard nothing from Kimberly. I have texted her on the fifth and that was this morning. I am yet to hear from Kimberly. McDonough Hyundai service center sucks. You call in they connect you to the service advisor, nobody answers. I have personally called their service department numerous amount of times and I am yet to have a person pick up . They said they’ll connect me to Kimberly. No answer. No call back.. today I still am yet to hear from Kimberly with regards to the part that was ordered. Guess I’ll have to drive back to their service department in order to get an answer, like I’ve had to do on the 2 previous occasions. Please help… More
