COMPLAINT We purchased our 2018 VW Atlas from McDonald VW in Littleton, CO certified used. This vehicle and this shop has been a huge inconvenience to us the entire time. I have asked the service advisor VW in Littleton, CO certified used. This vehicle and this shop has been a huge inconvenience to us the entire time. I have asked the service advisor a number of times to speak to his service manager and she never calls me. That’s not leadership. The first time my cruise went out 3hrs into a 8hr trip. This shop, after having my car for 2 days, wanted to charge me $600+ to recalibrate the gyroscope in the emblem and an alignment. I declined and still got stuck with a diagnosis bill of $120! I took it to a different VW shop and they covered it under warranty. Airbag light came on in July and it took them a week to get the car fixed!! It was like pulling teeth to get a fleet vehicle in my hands! A month later, the airbag light came on again! This time it was a fault in the drivers side side impact bag. We didn’t feel comfortable driving it out of state, they wouldn’t give me a fleet vehicle and so we ended up driving our older car that has an oil leak instead as that felt more comfortable than a newer car with an airbag light on. The Atlas is not a car I recommend to friends and family and tell the to avoid VW all together because it’s been such a terrible experience for us. More
