I will never purchase another vehicle from McDonald Nissan in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, and I strongly advise others not to either. Three weeks ago, I purchased a GMC Sierra Denali. Within days, I Nissan in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, and I strongly advise others not to either. Three weeks ago, I purchased a GMC Sierra Denali. Within days, I noticed the brakes were squeaking and clearly in need of new brake pads, and the key fob was falling apart and needed replacement. These are basic issues that should never be overlooked on a high-end vehicle. I also made it very clear when I provided my down payment check that it would not clear until Wednesday. I was told not to worry and that the check would not be processed until the following week. Instead, the check was deposited the very next day (Tuesday). When I called to address this, I received no return calls despite multiple attempts and voicemails left for both the Sales Manager, Alex Zavala, and the Finance Manager, Jim Lopez. It took over two weeks to get any response. When I finally spoke with the Finance Manager, Jim Lopez, he told me my salesman would call me back and that replacing the key fob would not be an issue. No one ever followed up. I ultimately had to drive over 30 miles back to the dealership just to speak with someone in person. Today, I met with the Sales Manager, Alex Zavala. His solution regarding the brakes—despite only putting about 500 miles on the truck in three weeks—was that they would look at them, but I would be responsible for paying for the repair. Regarding the key fob, he stated that because it was not written on a “We Owe,” my conversation with the Finance Manager “never happened.” His tone was dismissive, condescending, and showed zero concern for customer service or doing the right thing. Between Alex Zavala (Sales Manager) and Jim Lopez (Finance Manager), the message was clear: once the vehicle rolls off the lot, McDonald Nissan no longer cares about the customer, honoring their word, or earning repeat business. This dealership does not stand behind what they tell you, does not communicate, and does not take responsibility. I will never return, and I will not recommend McDonald Nissan in Highlands Ranch to anyone. More

At the end of the Never felt pressured during negotiations and when I explained why wasn’t ready to buy they acknowledged my concerns and let it be. At the end of the day my wife and I came to the conclusion what they offered was a good deal and when we would have a hard time beating it. When we called back the sales and finance team answered all the questions I had and went through extended warranty options without pressure. One of the best sellers experiences buying a car I’ve ever had. More
