Bad experience I stopped in to McDonald Kia not really looking to but a car, just looking around, maybe considering a new car. The salesman was great, very friendly I stopped in to McDonald Kia not really looking to but a car, just looking around, maybe considering a new car. The salesman was great, very friendly, professional, not pressuring. I decided to trade in my vehicle for a new Kia and I thought I got a good deal. But that's where the good deal ended. The car I purchased had no floor mats so I was told that they will be ordered and I will be contacted as soon as they come in. Well, it's been 6 weeks since I have purchased the car and still no floor mats. I have called and left messages with no return calls. I have even stopped in at the dealership to check on the status of the floor mats and was told I would be notified as soon as they arrived. I feel that a $20,000 vehicle should at least come with floor mats. Everyone I have talked to that has ever purchased a new vehicle received floor mats with it. Even used vehicles come with floor mats. Then I had trouble activating the satellite radio. I called Sirius to activate and they could not do it, I was told I had to contact the dealer. So I contact the dealer and again leave a message. A couple of days pass and still no satellite radio or a return call from the dealer. So I call the dealer again and they did take care of it and I now have the satellite radio, but I had to make the phone calls to fix it. I could not get a return call from McDonald Kia. Then there is the letter I received from the sales manager of McDonald Kia approximately 3 weeks after I purchased a new car from them. The letter states that McDonald Kia is interested in my Nissan (which I just traded in for a new Kia with them) and they are offering me up to 115% of Kelley Blue Book, as there is a buyer for my vehicle. And I was also offered a $50 pre-paid Visa with any new or used test drive whether a deal is put together or not. Why wasn't I offered this when I was there trading in my vehicle? Why was this letter sent to me from the sales manager after I already purchased a car? What is the point of this letter? To let me know that if I had waited I would have received a better deal? That's what it feels like to me. Why doesn't the sales manager know that I bought a car from him 3 weeks prior? Why doesn't anyone return phone calls? Why don't new Kia's come with floor mats? Why does a dealership make promises it can't keep? Why is there no communication within the sales department? I am a retired disabled veteran and I don't have a lot of money, I live on a fixed income, so buying a new vehicle is a big deal to me and this was my experience. I like the car, I would probably purchase another Kia in the future, but I would not do business with McDonald Kia again. More
Highly recommend! I've been in the market for a reliable truck with low miles for almost a year now. It's been difficult to say the least due to my budget. After talking to Keifer and telling him what all I wanted and needed he went to work for me searching for something in my price range. 2 days later he called me to come down and check out what he found. Long story short he got me in a 2002 Gmc Sonoma with only 100k miles. Major plus it's 4 wheel drive which I wasn't expecting. I absolutely love this truck and to top it all off he got me in the truck for almost 2000 dollars under blue book value! Keifer worked his butt off for me to find the vehicle I wanted for a price that I can more than afford! Anyone looking for a new or used car needs to go see Keifer at McDonald Kia in Saginaw! I plan on recommending Keifer to everybody looking for a car. Thank you for all your help getting me into this beautiful truck Keifer! More
