Turning A Terrible Day Into a Memorable One tl;dr Regan from McDonald KIA is an absolute rockstar. This is a long story but I wanted to share it with everyone. Yesterday morning, my dad tl;dr Regan from McDonald KIA is an absolute rockstar. This is a long story but I wanted to share it with everyone. Yesterday morning, my dad was hit by a driver while working on his broken down vehicle on the side of the road, sending him flying into the ditch while the driver sped off. I rushed him to the Saginaw VA Hospital where he was treated and was (thankfully) OK. On the way back, we noticed the McDonald KIA dealership and dad told me to stop by, just to take a look. We were immediately greeted by Regan, who noticed I was looking at a brand new 2018 KIA Soul. He brought us to his office and told us about a Soul they had in the used vehicle lot that they had; an orange 2018 Soul Turbo Plus Package with only 227 miles on it. The 95 year old man who bought it a few weeks ago passed away and the wife brought it back because it was too much for her. Regan explained that the vehicle was practically brand new but it couldn't technically be sold that way because it had 227 miles on it. The Soul I was driving was a used 2013 base model and he told me he would give me $9000 for the trade in to cover the rest of the loan I owed plus the down payment, plus he knocked $5000 off the price for being semi used. While we were waiting for the credit check and app to go through, we told him about our bad day and how dad went to the hospital, and my fiance was worried that mom and dad were getting hungry. Regan went into the back and brought us a Visa gift card so my parents could go eat while we were waiting. We hadn't even agreed to buy the vehicle and it meant a lot that this salesman did that for us. Needless to say, we drove off the lot with that orange KIA. This was my first time buying a new vehicle and it was such a great experience. I want everyone to know how awesome these guys are. Thank you Regan and thank you McDonald KIA for making yesterday into a great one. More

Good Experience The dealer we had was great, took us for a few test drives and let me get a good understanding of what the car had to offer. However, getting the loan The dealer we had was great, took us for a few test drives and let me get a good understanding of what the car had to offer. However, getting the loan approved took hours. I was at the dealership all day, half of the time with no idea with what was going on. Besides that, they were short staffed so my dealer had to leave several times to help other customers, and could not even show me all of the features of my car as he had to work with another customer.
