No Way to Set Up New Car After getting over the excitement of having the new car, we began to notice that there were small spots on driver's seat, the wheels needed cleaning, After getting over the excitement of having the new car, we began to notice that there were small spots on driver's seat, the wheels needed cleaning, mats were not vacuumed, it needed dusting, tires were not at recommended pressure. We were told by our salesperson to bring it back. After waiting 30 minutes it was returned to us. Immediately we noted they failed to fix air pressure. We also discovered that the coolant was not full and windshield wiper fluid was low. Frustrated that we would have to spend more time driving to dealership and bothering sales staff, we took it to Grease Monkey. Staff topped off coolant, aired the tires and filled windshield fluid for Free. They told us these are routine items they always do when servicing a vehicle. More

The service department failed to read the details on my online appointment request. Even after I called and spoke with a service manager they were not prepared with the correct parts when I brought the car in. While the service manager Keith F did take my calls, he didn’t go the extra mile to make up for the lack of service. Even though our Hyundai is only 2 years old, we will not be bringing the car in ever again to be serviced. McDonald Hyundai you need to step up your game!! More
Unsatisfied with the Customer Service I was in Hyundai looking to buy a car yesterday. As I was looking for someone to help me I saw an employee walking next to me so I asked her for help. She looked at me with a nasty look and said "I can't help you" and walked off. I went to another employee and asked him for some help and explained what had happened. He told me the name of the employee was Madisyn Luna and just brush it off, she isn't the nicest. I have been in the service industry for 5 years and would never give my company a bad reputation because I had poor customer service. It is very unfortunate that I decided to go to another dealership to buy a car because Madisyn made me feel so uncomfortable to be here. I hope McDonald Hyundai decides to train there employees better so nobody else has to receive this type of service from there employees. More
Absolutely Awful, dangerous, and rude I brought my car in for a brake issue which was very dangerous. I did a bunch of research and was very confident in the issue, and explained this to I brought my car in for a brake issue which was very dangerous. I did a bunch of research and was very confident in the issue, and explained this to the advisor, Matthew. They didn't call me back for two days. I called in and was told I wasn't contacted because "Matthew was on vacation". I asked him if they fixed the issue I brought it in for. He told me my car should have an alignment and a bunch of fluids changed - very eager to sell routine maintenance, but not address my actual concerns. He was confident that the had "plugged in a brake booster" and the issue was resolved. I asked if they inspected the components I had specifically asked them to inspect, and he said no - it "takes too long" to inspect them and they're certain the problem is resolved. I said, I'm paying for an inspection and I want them to inspect the components I requested them to, because it is a common failure for my vehicle. He refused, told me the internet doesn't know as much as he does because he has a degree in "automotive repair" and rudely promised me the issue was resolved. I picked the car up 4 days after I dropped it off, paid them $194 and drove off. On the way home brakes wouldn't engage and I almost crashed into a median due to the failure. They charged me almost $200, kept my car for almost a week, and didn't fix anything. I went straight to an independent mechanic who confirmed the issue I had requested McDonald to fix and performed the repair under my extended warranty. McDonald was extremely rude and dismissive of my concerns, kept my car an unreasonable amount of time, didn't communicate effectively, and ultimately let me drive off in an unsafe vehicle. Please do not waste your time, money or safety by visiting this dealership. Bad customer service seems more common these days, but McDonald truly is astonishingly bad. More

Thorough service dept I was very impressed with Christopher in the Service Department. When it looked like my car wasn't going to be ready the same day, he immediately arra I was very impressed with Christopher in the Service Department. When it looked like my car wasn't going to be ready the same day, he immediately arranged for a loaner and got me on the road so I was able to spend time with my husband at the hospital instead of waiting in the service area.
