Mr. Nares, As always, we appreciate all honest customer feedback and we see any complaint as an opportunity to improve our staff and our company. I’m concerned with your review based on the conversations we’ve had via email. On Monday morning 12/10/18, you sent a private message to me stating that Wes approached you on the lot on a previous day and told you that you "couldn’t afford their vehicles and walked off", and that you "noticed his name was Wes." That Monday was Wes' first day on the job and he was still in training, and therefore not working directly with customers on the lot yet. Wes also did not have a name badge or business cards and was not even listed on our website at the time. I was hoping to ask you how you noticed his name based on the lack of those items. I reached out to you immediately via email, hoping to speak with you on the phone so I could better understand what happened. You responded in email saying you were unable to speak on the phone but that you'd call me on Saturday 12/15/18 and then never called or left a voicemail. When I asked for your phone number so I could follow up with you, you said "I do not give out my phone number." Based on the timeframe and information you’ve provided, I believe there’s a possibility you could have encountered a different salesperson during your visit. We are located in a large Autoplex that includes other non-McCurley dealership employees from different companies that you could have mistaken Wes for. I think you might agree it would be unfair to discipline the wrong employee, especially without having a conversation with the customer (you) first. Furthermore, Wes’ character and his positive reviews from all of his other customers make this negative experience hard to consider. This is why I've attempted to reach you. At this time, I’ve made my best attempt to help you but you’ve avoided that and reviewed us poorly despite my efforts to make things right. If you change your mind, I’m still willing to talk if you’d like to call me or provide a number for me to call. If not, I respectfully wish you luck in your automotive needs elsewhere.
