Awful experience! Absolute Terrible experience with this dealership. From finance department, to service department, to broken promises by management! Spent over an hour and 45minutes in finance because he continued to try and add warranties we did not want! Tried to get me to use ford motor credit with a 6.7% interest rate even though we have perfect credit. FYI they get commission or some type of compensation for using ford motor credit! Contacted multiple times by sales manager to redo survey after purchasing because we did not put excellent, well experience wasn’t excellent then nor did it continue. Service department damaged vehicle, they continued to say that the clear coat that was buffed off my brand new vehicle was because of bird poop! Seriously! Clearly this was bad judgement for the person working on vehicle during service that tried to cover up his/her mistake. Less than 400 miles and I had to make arrangements to bring vehicle back so they could send to their body shop for paint repair, which then came back with more issues. At this point we we’re Promised they would put me in a new one and do an even swap with one exactly like mine with no price difference. After multiple contacts to this person he failed to respond to calls/text about the status of finding new vehicle. We decided to go in unannounced and magically he had supposedly found one that was being delivered next day (although that’s hard to believe when no contact to us was made) and then said I would have to pay more even with a lower interest rate and it would be like trading in a vehicle rather than the even swap which was previously discussed! BUYER BEWARE!!! Total nightmare! All this was done within the first month of purchasing vehicle! More

Happy new Ford car owner I was at McCombs Ford West to get my 2013 Focus serviced. Philip Marlowe came over to the service center and started talking to me about the possibili I was at McCombs Ford West to get my 2013 Focus serviced. Philip Marlowe came over to the service center and started talking to me about the possibility of buying a new car. I had planned to buy a new car but later in the year. Philip spent the rest of that morning showing me cars that matched the criteria I wanted in my next car. He was very patient and answered all my questions and offered sound advise about why I should consider staying with Ford rather than the other options I was considering. Next thing I know I'm test driving a Ford Eco Sport and finding it has all the specific features I want, except being the wrong color. In no time at all, Philip went to another dealer and found the exact car I requested. After that he just closed the deal. I emptied out my Focus and left the lot in a new car. Since then, Philip has continued to help me to understand the many new features my new car has. He is committed to making sure I'm a happy McCombs West customer. I will recommend him to any of my friends who are looking to buy a new car.... More

No, I steer away from rough terrain and I do not treat or expect as though I am operating a Cadillac, F-150, a Mercedes Benz, etc, etc. I am mindful that the vehicle has four cylinders yet Ford still need communicate more honestly and open. Yes, they were polite, courteous as all sales individuals are taught and observed. I pray in my heart MFW talked the truth to me. Since they were posted in Facebook about the Recall of their vehicles, the company needs to be honest with prospect buyers and current customers alike. Yes of course, I am grateful they saw that I was distressed, quite concerned, and took back the car for a 2018 5 door Ford Focus when my visit was why the engine light was on the day after they had worked on it and returned it. More

Worst experience ever! Bought a 2017 Ford Escape. Advertised price was $2000 below what I paid because car came with Polysteel. When I asked for proof of pilysteel a few day Bought a 2017 Ford Escape. Advertised price was $2000 below what I paid because car came with Polysteel. When I asked for proof of pilysteel a few days later excuse was they had lost the work order and would need to reapply it to the car. Right... gotcha! Do not fall for this! Demand to see proof of application! Also purchased extended warranty, which finance manager said included one chip key in case we needed it. Gotcha again! Upon closer inspection the key was actually an extra $395 charge. Do not fall for this! Lastly I've been complaining of a rancid smell when I turn on the air conditioner for the last two oil changes but was told nothing could be found and suggested I change my filters which I did. Still stunk so after doing my own research I took it in and asked them to check for clogged air conditioner drain. Service rep told me that isn't covered by warranty. What? Yeah, that's part of normal maintenance like changing your oil. He said it needs to be blown out, and when I asked if he could do that for me, he again said it was not covered. In all my years of owning cars I have never blown out the air conditioner drain as part of normal maintenance. They ended up doing it and not charging me after all saying that the warrant covered it, but why give me s hard time to begin with, or making me figure out what was wrong? Worst service ever! Do not buy a new car or get your car serviced here! More

I picked my daughter up from school today and when she shut the door it shut and I made a turn and the door flew open while driving. I stopped and noticed there was a recall on the website. Lois the Service person i spoke with twice , stated to me that this was not a concern and the earliest I could it in would be sometime in March as it wasn't listed as a priority. When I asked to speak to the Service manager, I was informed that there was no manager in the dealership available to help with my situation . I have 2 ford vehicles and wanted to also see about trading one in for a new model but thanks to Lois and the Service department not wanting to address a high priority recall and tell me I should be able to drive with it until sometime in march while Im still making payments on this car is beyond insane. Thank You Red McCombs Ford West you just lost my business. I have also mentioned my concerns with my coworkers who are also on the Ford employee plan. More
