GARBAGE. The definition of “sleazy” is the only thing you will find at this Hyundai dealership. From the moment I began contacting the dealership in regards to The definition of “sleazy” is the only thing you will find at this Hyundai dealership. From the moment I began contacting the dealership in regards to test driving (and anticipating on purchasing the vehicle I had my heart set on) I was being lied to. Come to find out after over an HOUR commute to this dealership (being promised the car I had SCHEDULED to view just 24 hours in advance) had not even ARRIVED on the lot and not a single salesman or general manager had any idea on where it was located. After watching a group of grown men scramble around searching for a vehicle that was confirmed (in writing) at their specific location for almost TWO HOURS, they still continued to lie to me. I heard everything from, “the vehicle was on the way”, to “the vehicle was on the lot the entire time”, to “the keys were misplaced and that’s why it was difficult to find”, to “it will be here Monday”, to “it will be here Wednesday”, to “it is actually in Olathe”, and then to “it was “upstairs” the entire time being test driven.” Come to find out after I had already STORMED out from their facility that the vehicle that had been posted on their website and promised for me to view at Blue Springs had already been SOLD AT THE OLATHE LOCATION AND WASN’T EVEN AVAILABLE IN THE FIRST PLACE. WHAT A JOKE AND A PLOY TO GET YOU ON THE LOT ONLY TO SCAM YOU. THEY DON’T EVEN KNOW THEIR OWN INVENTORY. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. The general manager, James Sparks, was atrocious to work with. Being a young female, my first experience purchasing my very own vehicle, he did nothing but lie straight to my face and try to take advantage of me. I even watched the other GM make fun of the salesman working with me, Nick, (who was nothing but kind), literally say he was “not all there in the head” and say he was ‘spacey’. How can you even believe that they would be genuine, trustworthy salesmen to their customers and they DEGRADE their OWN COLLEAGUES WORKING ALONG SIDE THEM?! JAMES even tried to pressure me into purchasing the vehicle that I had originally scheduled to see BEFORE it even arrived and I could even test drive it. THANK GOODNESS I did not, because I would have purchased a vehicle that was not even available in the first place! HA, WOW! Then after sitting down and trying to scam me into another vehicle, even after hours of frustration and catching them in constant lies, JAMES tells me (and points) specifically to a couple telling me that they are sitting down to purchase the car they DID have on the lot at that very moment. Such a ploy to pressure a young girl into something thousands of dollars MORE expensive... That couple wasn’t even looking at that vehicle, but in fact a completely DIFFERENT car, as I had walked over and asked them directly because I DID NOT TRUST ANY OF THEM AFTER MY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. This dealership is a JOKE and will NEVER RECEIVE MY BUSINESS. The most atrocious and horrible experience I could ever imagine. I can not even express my frustration with this entire situation, and I feel sorry for anyone who gets taken advantage of or suckered into this kind of salesmanship. Entirely dishonorable, shady, unethical, and a complete waste of time. I took my money elsewhere and YOU SHOULD TOO. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS GARBAGE. More
