When I reached there he showed me car but later on said that they will not honor the price confirmed. I will have to pay several thousands more. Stay away from thsi dealer. More

My wife's 2001 Chrysler voyager needs to be jumped about every other week. There is something slowly draining the battery. So I took it up to O'Reilly Auto and had them test both the battery and alternator every other week. There is something slowly draining the battery. I then took it to a local mechanic and they said they didn't know what was wrong with it; but that the battery, starter, and alternator had all tested good there too. They even gave me a printout of the test results. So, I took it to the dealership because they supposedly know their own products better than the other guys. I called Lee's Summit Dodge Chrysler Jeep, told them what was wrong over the phone, and asked if they could get around to it that day which happened to be the Friday before Christmas. They said to bring it in. When I arrived they said they couldn't look at it that day because they had a skeleton crew and the electrical guys weren't in. I understand things happen and to their credit they did give me 10% off for my trouble. So I gladly brought it back to them the Thursday after Christmas. When they finally called me back a week later(!) they said it was the alternator. I was surprised, but wrongly believed them since they are supposedly the Chrysler "guru's". So, one week and $600 dollars later I had a brand new alternator and was all set to go. However, a week after that I needed to jump it again (which was the original problem...having to jump it about every other week). I called and told Jesse who was my service writer (Please keep in mind that all service writers get commission on what they sale!). He said that it was probably something else unrelated, that an old van with that many miles on it could have multiple problems (how convenient it was the exact same problem at the exact same time). He said he would re-diagnose it for free then charge me for any other repairs. I told him that my original problem had never been fixed, that it was doing the EXACT same thing I brought it in for, and that I had already paid for their diagnosis and $600 for an alternator that two other places had already told me was good! Instead of standing by their work he stuck by his well- scripted response... that I'm sure all service writers are trained to say (that's it's old and was something else causing the problem). He then also added, "It worked when you picked it up from here. You drove it out of here, did you not?" Heck, I DROVE IT IN THERE! So after a week's wait (on a repair that lists as 1.8 shop hours),a wrong diagnosis,and $600 I have come to the conclusion that they are either incompetitent and don't know what they're doing OR they know what they're doing and are dishonest. Either way.......NEVER, AND I MEAN NEVER, TAKE YOUR CAR TO THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT! Please learn from my experience with them. Dealerships don't always know more than the "little guys"....lesson learned (the hard way). More

I went to turn in my lease and had everything lined up with another innocent family ready to buy our Jeep so that it wouldn't just get low bid somewhere and end up in a bad place. Kidding aside, this could have been a comedy/horror routine fit for SNL, or SAW 27. For over 4 months I had all the details lined up before going down this path with them (Lease guy to be named later). It all happened so unexpected and before I could say a word-- ALLL promises and communicated details were reneged, or corrected with "well we couldn't really do that" or "we'll work it out"!!! All this after it was sold and the new buyer drives off with it!! Aftermath... three time they told me and the buyer that the powertrain warranty would be converted if they finance through them (later said it couldn't after buyer already started paperwork---later tacking on a $200 paperwork fee for the buyer that wasn't disclosed), 2) saying they could write a check to me for the difference 6-8 different times prior to coming in and that day on the phone one last time. I was checking and rechecking with them. Now the difference will go to the buyer because they can't write a check to seller, and lowered that profit amount by over $200 just because... I'm not kidding there is no explanation provided yet and I was never asked about it. Bottom line-- we didn't buy our awesome jeep from Lee's Summit (where I have lived for 25 years) 3 years ago because of the same song and dance. Beware!!!!!! These guys are criminals and I would recommend getting something in writing but they will just change that and add a last minute $200 dollar fee or totally change their story. They completely lived up to their reputation!!! Chris was suppose to call me back and I guess he could disturb the boss who was probably at home watching the golf channel. Read other negative reviews before buying. The 5 stars are either family or they did not care about the extras or bother to read the fine print. Good luck! More
