After visiting with Keenon and getting mixed information from service, he provided my wife a car to drive while McCarthy Hyundai service double inspected her car. Money well spent. A/C Unit quit working on 2014 Tucson Traveling cross country and noticed our A/C unit started blowing warm air. Pulled off the road and found A/C line was iced up. Looked up closest Hyu Traveling cross country and noticed our A/C unit started blowing warm air. Pulled off the road and found A/C line was iced up. Looked up closest Hyundai dealer and McCarthy's was 1.5 miles away. Pulled in at 3pm and noticed all bays seemed full and they were very busy. Michael Huskey in service asked how he could help us. We told him we probably needed an inspection on our system for leaks, etc. and we were traveling through and didn't have an appointment. He told us it would be $190 plus parts if they had them in stock. and they could squeeze us in. Approximately 30 minutes later, Michael returned and told us the system did not have any leaks, that it was the thermostat, but unfortunately they didn't have one in stock. He also told us the service was no charge due to the fact that there was a bulletin out on this problem. Not a recall yet, but it has happened enough to be a concern. He wrote down exactly what we needed, told us we could in fact use the A/C, but let it die down when the a/c started blowing warm air. He gave us his business card and told us to have the dealership we end up with to give him a call if there is any questions... HATS OFF TO MICHAEL AND MCCARTHY! We were back on the road in less then an hour.. what wonderful service! True Professionals! More
