Sales I did a KBB rating and McCarthy contacted me via internet/text. I had conversation via computer/text with “someone” and they made a lot of empty promi I did a KBB rating and McCarthy contacted me via internet/text. I had conversation via computer/text with “someone” and they made a lot of empty promises or should I say LIES. They asked for my VIN#, mileage, payoff on vehicle, etc. I told the person “talking” via computer/text that I would NOT go below or much below trade in so if they couldn’t do that there was no reason to waste my time or their time. That person said “it’s end of month and manager is giving amazing deals and I know we can get close or I wouldn’t have u come on to dealership.” I said, “okay.” They asked for me to fill out prequalify and we will have all paperwork ready since u r on limited time. NO PART OF THAT WAS TRUE. The person I dealt with, Tyler, knew nothing about my car, including VIN#, mileage or what I said about my trade in “wanted and needed” amount. Tyler looked shocked and then chose to attempt to lecture me about buying a car, putting money down,etc and he was VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. Do not lie to me to get business because that will NEVER happen due to lies and I professionalism. More
