Terrible sales manager I would like to start by saying that the salesman I worked with, Mike L. was great to work with and very accommodating. However, the problem occurred I would like to start by saying that the salesman I worked with, Mike L. was great to work with and very accommodating. However, the problem occurred when trying to negotiate a price on the vehicle I was interested in purchasing. As we all know, the Sales Managers control this aspect of the process which is unfortunate. In my experience at this dealer, the sales manager was less than pleasant to work with. He/She did not ever come out of their office to talk to me, stated that they were loosing money on the vehicle at the price they had advertised, stated they had the lowest price in the city and would not negotiate at all on the advertised price. The only reason they have the lowest advertised price is due to GM incentives included in their internet pricing, which are not paid for by the dealership. Don't think for a minute that they are loosing money on their advertised selling price. If you are not going to negotiate on price, then simply state that just as Car Max does. Furthermore, the sales manager sent an handwritten note in red sharpie with a smart a** response to my offer. It was very disrespectful and stated something similar to "thanks for entertaining us today" I had every intent of buying a vehicle today, but, refuse to buy from a dealer that lies/misstates the truth and is not willing to work with the customers. I will purchase a new vehicle in the very near future, however, it won't be from McCarthy Chevrolet in Lees Summit MO. More

Treats loyal customer's poorly I take all five of my GM vehicles here for service for years and they refused to give me a part number over some new stupid non customer friendly poli I take all five of my GM vehicles here for service for years and they refused to give me a part number over some new stupid non customer friendly policy. GM tells me they have to get the number from Molle Chevrolet. Pretty sure I'll just go there from now on. I have a family member and my grandmother's neighbor take their GM vehicles to a McCarthy dealership based off my recommendation but this place has been going down hill since Juan left as General manager.
