I purchased a vehicle from Mazda of South Charlotte, signed all finance documents, paid a $2,500 deposit, and was required to carry full coverage insurance. Ten days later I was told the loan would not signed all finance documents, paid a $2,500 deposit, and was required to carry full coverage insurance. Ten days later I was told the loan would not be funded and was ordered to return the car. Despite repeated requests, my deposit and insurance reimbursement have not been properly returned, and the dealership even had the vehicle towed without notice while still leaving the tag and insurance in my name—putting me at risk for liability. This dealership has shown zero accountability, little to no empathy, and left me without a car, out thousands of dollars, and missing work. Based on my experience and the many similar complaints already filed with the BBB, I strongly caution anyone from trusting Mazda of South Charlotte. More
I had an excellent experience working with both Taylor, salesperson, and her manager, Hunter. From the very beginning, they were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in understanding my needs salesperson, and her manager, Hunter. That was key for me since I live in Florida and they're in North Carolina. Although I ultimately decided to postpone the purchase, my decision was made solely because I anticipate being in a more advantageous financial position in the short to medium term—not due to any hesitation about the product or the experience itself. I was extremely impressed by their professionalism, transparency, and willingness to listen, which speaks volumes about how they treat their customers, especially because the majority of experiences with some Mazda dealers in my area have been subpar. I would confidently recommend them to anyone in the area looking for a new or used Mazda, and I fully intend to contact them again when I’m ready to move forward myself.
