I was told to call Chase Finance to get an inspection, but they weren't open on weekends. On Monday, I called Chase and they could not schedule a pre-inspection before I left town on vacation. I called the dealer back and spoke to Abraham. He told me that they had no room, may have to park the car on the street and would not accept a lease return without a pre-inspection per GM Nazir. He fist told me that Nazir was not there. Then he put me on hold to talk to Nazir. Then he told me to call back and ask for Nazir. He told me that they "refused" to take it back otherwise. I've never experience such poor customer service from a dealer. Avoid this dealership. My experience was exactly the same as all other lease return reviews. Never again. More
Worst Customer Service All they care about is taking your money. When my lease ended with my mazda, I called to ask how to return my vehicle. they couldn't have been more ru All they care about is taking your money. When my lease ended with my mazda, I called to ask how to return my vehicle. they couldn't have been more rude. They don't care to help you once the car is out of their hands. They told me they didn't have enough room for my vehicle since I didn't get it at their dealership. I was told by Mazda Capital Service any Mazda dealer can take your lease car back. Lesson: Care about your customers throughout the whole process and not just to make a deal because you lost a customer for life. More
Avoid this dealership at all cost! Please! I'll admit that I was a fool when I leased the car from them in the first place, despite how rude Mike was - I was too excited to finally get my hands I'll admit that I was a fool when I leased the car from them in the first place, despite how rude Mike was - I was too excited to finally get my hands on a brand new Mazda! I avoided going back there for three years, until today when I had to stop by to return the lease before its maturity date. Unfortunately for us Mike managed to keep his job as a manager (and maybe owner?) there and literally slammed my keys on the table and told me to get the xxxx out of his dealership because the car was not pre-inspected and that there is no space to keep my car there. No space???? I was able to park the car in their lot when I got there with plenty of space around me, and there was a half-empty lot right next to the sales lobby... Unless Mike is storing all of his ego and thirst for profit in the lots, it definitely looked like there was more than enough space for one smallest car in the whole Mazda lineup. Did I confirm with the bank that a I don't have to have the car pre-inspected before leaving it to the leadership? Yes, the bank said I should most definitely be able to just drop off the car and call them later to have it inspected. Did I try to get a pre-inspection done before showing up to the dealership? Yes, but the next availability is in a month - or three weeks after my lease's due date. Did I check with other dealerships around the area to see if I could just do it through them? Yes but they all said they were out of space! Why else do you think I'd ever want to go back to Santa Monica Mazda for anything after dealing with Mike three years ago? The moral of my story? AVOID SANTA MONICA MAZDA AT ALL COST! Go to Culver City Mazda for way better services and prices (I've been taking my car for service for the past three years and I recently leased a new car from them - they have been nothing but amazing and friendly). Or there is an equally affordable Subaru dealership a few blocks down if you want AWD?? Just sayin' More
Worst Dealer! We went for a test drive, not only the salesman (Nej) wasn't warm and helpful, but also he said he was too busy for a test drive (and they only had an We went for a test drive, not only the salesman (Nej) wasn't warm and helpful, but also he said he was too busy for a test drive (and they only had another customer/a couple). My husband said we are looking to buy a cx9, but for whatever reason he was insisting that a cx5 would be enough for our family!! Even though my husband mentioned several times that we're planning to buy the car, he was still insisting that we should lease one!!! My husband finally asked about the prices and Nej said he doesn't know!! He asked us to come back later, because one of the salesmen's grandma passes away and they were short staffed! The most unprofessional way to handle a customer! We're NOT going back! More
Not interested in negotiating a deal. called the dealer to get a " best price " for the new Mazda cx-5 ( grand touring ). I'm not sure who exactly I spoke with; but when I asked if the $32 called the dealer to get a " best price " for the new Mazda cx-5 ( grand touring ). I'm not sure who exactly I spoke with; but when I asked if the $32,000.00 price quoted was negotiable, the answer was no! Heads-up to anyone interested; if you want to save yourself time, money & aggravation just go to CostcoAuto.com ( 800 ) 458-1691. Costco will provide you, free of charge, with the names & phone numbers of participating dealers who offer special members-only discounts & in some cases manufactures rebates. My Costco referred Mazda dealer quoted me a price of $29,176.00 for the same car! More
THE Most Crooked, Incompetent Dealer Ever, By Far I honestly could not imagine a worse dealer than this. Despite obvious, serious problems with my car, they claimed there was nothing wrong (poor attem I honestly could not imagine a worse dealer than this. Despite obvious, serious problems with my car, they claimed there was nothing wrong (poor attempt at a Jedi mind trick?) therefore could not fix them. For years, they said my barely drivable car was "normal", lied to me about testing it (are they not aware of odometers?!), did no work (despite saying they did), and sent me on my way with a dangerous vehicle. Even after calls to the GM and receiving letters, they did nothing -- not even returning calls from Mazda or the bank. Even the sales staff got caught lying and just shrugged. I have no idea how this truly awful dealer manages to stay in business. More
