The surge manager, Mike was extremely polite and friendly. He made me feel comfortable and did not push for me to get anything done on my car that I didn’t feel was necessary. I initially came in just for a test drive. Matt helped me with the car l was interested in. I drove it but it was not the right car for me. The trim had interior and exterior features that I live ! I decided then that I would be driving it home that day. He made the whole process simple and easy. I appreciate how knowledgeable and polite he was. I had a lot of questions. I am so very happy with my car and the service was excellent! Thank you Mazda of Thousand Oaks. BUYER BEWARE! This dealership/Matt plays games. Matt kept trying to get me to come in but once I asked for photos of the vehicle he said it wasnt available to vie This dealership/Matt plays games. Matt kept trying to get me to come in but once I asked for photos of the vehicle he said it wasnt available to view? Eventually I got photos. I asked if the sale price was correct only to find they added the pre-sale price to the OTD. When I mentioned this they said they will only honor the price if I came in, EVEN though they already confirmed the price and it should already be honored when Matt agreed to the sale price??? (Please refer to the screenshots) When I finally got the break down, they added "optional fees" but essentially told me they were mandatory. I said they are NOT and he kept standing his ground. I asked him to show the the product add-ons contract and he said he couldn't do that over chat (but in reality its because the contract says that these charges are VOLUNTARY). I told him that forced add-ons are actually something that's going through a lawsuit right now and he said he had to close the chat. I have screenshots of the entire conversation. More
