I came to the Mazda Lakeland dealership and made an appointment based on a verbal quote. When I came to get the work done I was told that it would be more than triple what I was told. I always use the dealership for service. They have been great to me. Recently I was in for service and they were very confused. I was getting a simple oil change. They quoted me for 3,100.00 They have been great to me. Recently I was in for service and they were very confused. I was getting a simple oil change. They quoted me for 3,100.00 in repairs. From struts to new tires to filters. When I spoke to the service department they assured me that the vehicle needed these repairs. I then explained 4 days ago I put new tires on. 2 days ago I changed both air filters. Then understanding there was confusion they stated they had the wrong vehicle. I had a 9am appointment for oil change and this was 10:30 now. By 11:30 I again asked for a status of my vehicle. Confusion again. He stated he was "Not sure where my vehicle was." After a walk to the garage he realised my vehicle had not yet been in for service. I didn't get my vehicle out of service till after 12:30. Very disappointed with the service department. They seemed very confused and a little "put out" with me asking so many questions. I hope it's a one off event. More
