Check Engine Lamp On The 'Check Engine' lamp first came on at about 2200 miles. When I contacted the service manager Todd Duesterhaus from where I purchased the car at Ja The 'Check Engine' lamp first came on at about 2200 miles. When I contacted the service manager Todd Duesterhaus from where I purchased the car at Jay Hatfield in Columbus, Kansas, he indicated it was not a serious concern so I stated that I would wait until it's first oil change. Because taking the car back to Columbus would be an hour and half drive of 143 miles, I took the car to Mayse in Aurora MO. I had to take the car back several times because the problem was a very hard one to find with the reason for the problem originating at the factory when a cable assembly was located above a hose clamp that had a sharp edge that cut into the wires over time. The result was incorrect/inaccurate codes. It was not until different communication wires within the assembly were damaged resulting in multiple codes that the problem could be found. During the services, I feel that Shawn was very attentive and was exceptionally honest with the proceedings in finding the 'Check Engine' lamp fault. I want to note that the waiting room has two televisions. My one and only complaint and negative experience is that one was tuned to MSNBC and I do not care to watch their negative opinions of our country. Other than that, I am a satisfied customer. More
