Talk about a Pain free car buying experience with no pressure. Tony knows the market and offers clean low mileage vehicles. Mayo's has an A+ Better Business B We had an awesome, painless experience. I did my homework (summer '16) before deciding to check out Mayo's: 1. Mayo's has an A+ Better Business Bureau rating for at least three years (bbb.org) 2. EVERY car on the lot is priced as a fair deal or better on CarGurus.com. Most are a good deal. A few, great. A Kelly Blue Book (kbb.com) search confirmed I was looking at a good ($800 below bb) deal. 3. My average trade in was worth $2,300 on kbb, Chris and Tony offered us $2,500. 4. I knew what to look at during my inspection: http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/2012/12/inspecting-a-used-car/index.htm 5. Most of the cars are one owner fresh off-lease vehicles. Tony showed us the Carfax (carfax.com) that confirmed one lease owner. Ours still had the balance of the manufacturers warranty. The guys were friendly and helpful. With a test drive, and my full inspection, we were in and out of there in 50 minutes. They did all of the paperwork for around the same price we would have paid at Bev's without the hassle of having to drive there and wait in line. Now, I probably could have haggled a couple hundred dollars here or there, but I knew I was getting a good deal all around so I didn't want to turn a great, quick, fun experience into a hassle. (I have already taken a lunch with me to other dealerships. When the pressure starts to build during negotiations, I would ask to use their break room to have lunch and throw a wrench in their process which can take up to 4 hours!) I will recommend Mayo's to everyone I know. They just want to turn over off-lease vehicles at a good price, the faster the better. Do your homework. Go in armed with the numbers, and I'm sure Tony and Chris will give you a good deal too. I dare you to beat my new record of 50 painless minutes! More
