"I strongly advise against dealing with Maxkar Auto, a dealership in Fredericksburg, Virginia. In my experience, this dealership is one of the most corrupt establishments you can come across. If you are considering buying a vehicle from them, exercise caution and pay attention to every detail. It is important to note that the prices they display on their website may not be honored in their agreements. Additionally, they may try to repossess your vehicle even if it has not been late for up to thirty days, which goes against consumer rights protection. I urge you to consider this information before purchasing from this dealership. I have personally reported them to all three bureaus and hired a lawyer. They have taken personal property out of a vehicle that they don't have the right to take. Not to mention that they exercised a breach of contract during their first attempt to repo my vehicle, which was current and up to date with the monthly payments. I had put down $18,000 on the car, and yet it had only been two months with current payments, and they unlawfully initiated the placement of the car on the lift while my wife was in the vehicle at the present moment. Law enforcement was contacted, and their assistance was requested. The one repo employee ran and hid until the cops arrived. The repo company did not have a legal document stating that a repossession was requested." More
