I had to bring my 2011 Outlander in for the SAME warranty issue (3) times at 25,000, 52,000 and 56,000 miles. The second time they didn't order the correct part and I had to return for them to install. Now I issue (3) times at 25,000, 52,000 and 56,000 miles. We even met the Managing Partner - Todd Cahan, and the Man himself - MAX MADSEN. The Car Buying experience has changed significantly over the past 10 years - and I think that the Max Madsen Cybersales approach is the BEST way to specify your preferences as a Buyer. This "No Haggle" experience is the way car buying should be!!! More
I have never had better dealings with a Service Department than at Max Madsen, and I have delt with many in Illinois and Colorado, from Honda to Dodge. These guys listen and really try to get to the bottom of the issue. Most places don't care to listen or think they know better. Respect is what you get from Max Madsen! I can't say I got the best price on my new car, but it was fair. I would deal with them again. Sales is always friendly when I visit and know me by my first name. I have leased two cars from them and wouldn't hesitate leasing another. More
This dealership is not to be trusted. They sold me a car and told me that the car had one owner and no problems with it. I recently did a car fax repot which they would not show me and their has been frame and told me that the car had one owner and no problems with it. I recently did a car fax repot which they would not show me and their has been frame damage and 5 owners on the car. They have now put me in a situation where I cannot sell the car for a good value. I talked to the owner and he did not care about anything I had to say. This is the worst dealership to go to. More
I bought a 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer from them and they were pressuring me to buy today. I had asked for multiple accesories and they said they did not have them in stock so i would have to come and get them se pressuring me to buy today. I had to make two stops there to get all the parts and they did not give them to me on the promised dates. Then when I ran a Checklist of all the parts I had orderded they still had not given me all the parts. I called them again and again, yet no reply. Then after about a month of that I decided to go to the dealership. when I asked the manager for the parts they said they had them there for a long time waiting for me, but i told them they should have called. he didn't say anything. On the way to Parts I ran into Mike, the Salesmen that had sold me the car, I wrote him a bad review earlier for not getting me the right parts, he told me that that really hurt him. I said, "I don't care. You should stop thinking about yourself and put your customer first!" He looked as if he was about to cry. I went to parts and gave them this letter they sent me saying that my plates were in; even though i already had plates from my previous car which got totaled. I thought they would give me new plates but the same as my old ones since mine were in bad condition from the crash. But they didn't. They gave me a different set of plates that apparently I'm registered to. So that means I am now driving illegally, thanks to the friendly people at Max Madsen(Sarcasm). Then when I asked them for the ipod cable that I ordered, the guy said, when he looked into it he ordered the wrong one. How do u do u possibly do that? IT'S AN IPOD CABLE. I asked him for the other part I ordered which was the cargo tray. he just gave me this box and didn't even bother getting me a porter to install it for me.so I went to Service and asked them if they could put it in for me. He had no clue what I was saying. In the end I just asked for a tool to open the box. He gave me a razor blade. I went to the parking lot, opened the box, and tried to fit the cargo tray into the trunk, but... the STOCK subwoofer in the back was interfering with the cargo tray so that means THAT PART WAS ALSO WRONG. I told that to the guy at parts and he told me he would have to re order that. I don't think I'll be getting another cargo tray. So overall I haven't gotten the correct Ipod Cable or the Cargo tray which I have already paid for! I was also charged for the new plates which I DIDN'T ASK FOR... and now I cannot legally drive my car. The sales at Max Madsen do not care about the customer at all! They are friendly up until the handshake that closes the deal. then they shun you like it never happened. I SERIOULSY RECCOMEND THAT YOU DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. IF YOU WANT TO BUY A MITSUBISHI. IT'S WORTH THE DRIVE TO LISLE AT THEIR OTHER LOCATION. I DON'T EVEN THINK I AM GOING TO GET MY SERVICES DONE AT THIS PLACE. I'M PROBABLY JUST GOING TO GO LISLE OR TUFFY. More
The last time a brought my car in I (female) felt that the service dept really cared about my concerns. If it did not need fixing it was left alone.
