I gave a rating of 2 because service in regard of timeliness, courtesy and issues with performance after service was OK. Nevertheless, there is an issue of transparency on charges for service. When I went in for service a month ago it was identified that I needed to change my rear breaks. As I was short on time and money I decided to postpone for a later date. I had received other discounts for this type of service from New Port Richey and Wesley Chapel Nissan service centers. A week ago I got a an email with similar discount offers for which I decided to make a reservation for service at your facility. I came in left my car for service and left. When my car was ready I went in to pick up and pay. Since I was in a hurry I paid without checking charges and discounts applied. To my surprise when I checked charges I noticed two things that were unexpected. The first was shop supplies fees for almost $40 dollars. This was never mentioned. The second was the promoted 15% discount was never applied. I left a note to the service agent about this and he mention that shop supplies always applies for service and that he was unaware of the 15% discount promotion. For purposes of transparency I would suggest that extra charges should be mentioned to the customer prior to leaving the car for service or when reserving to avoid these types of situations. More
