Was completed in the expected timeframe and as agreed. Robert Walker provided a timely update as to the repair on my 2007 TL and what else would be appropriate given the mileage of 67,000. Great Service!! I went into the dealer because my car sustained a flat tire the night before on a Friday. I had no problem being put in as standby on a Saturday. Auto shutoff issue I’ve been having an issue with the auto shutoff feature on my TLX since I purchased it (doesn’t restart automatically). 2015 Acura MDX Service First, I will say I loved this service center for the last 12 years until now, when I traded my 2007 MDX for a 2015 MDX. For 11 years, I took my 2007 First, I will say I loved this service center for the last 12 years until now, when I traded my 2007 MDX for a 2015 MDX. For 11 years, I took my 2007 MDX there for service and was extremely loyal and satisfied. That car was purchased new. Because I loved Acura so much, I upgraded to a certified pre-owned 2015 MDX bought at this dealership in September. I have had this car in for warranty service and for an oil change several times. Each time has been a huge disappointment. The first time, the issues were not fixed because they couldn’t replicate them. They updated the computer system and said everything was good. My car has significant hesitation with acceleration. I was told I needed to change the transmission fluid which should have been done at the 30,000 mile service. When buying a certified pre-owned previously leased car, my assumption is all previous service items should have been done. Well, this didn’t solve the problem. The other issues are the fresh air to recirculated air does not change. It stays in fresh air mode despite what the settings say. They said the computer says it is working properly. Entirely not true when exhaust is coming into the car on recirculated air and when the windows fog up causing zero visibility. Almost got into an accident when the windows fogged up quickly. The rear passengers can control the front ac even when not synced. If the front ac is on high and the rear passengers turn down their ac, the front ac goes down too. And vise versa. I was told it is only the fan which lowers not the air. Clearly you can feel the difference in the air pressure and temperature when this happens. Also, the rear headphones needed replacement. I received 2 different models of headphones. Why? The ones I returned matched. I questioned the working of the computer. Perhaps the computer isn’t working correctly when it says everything is ok and it really isn’t. I was told that if the computer wasn’t working correctly then it would give me false signals such as check engine, etc. and then find nothing wrong. They said that happens 100% of the time. So I questioned, it never works the other way? They said no, 100% of the time when it is not working correctly, it will give false signals. I find it hard to believe a computer malfunctions the same way 100% of the time. Now what really shocked me is they flat out LIED to me. They kept my car for a week so multiple technicians could take my car home to test it out to duplicate the issues. Also, my receipt said the car was road tested regarding the acceleration issue. Well when I picked it up, the odometer only changed by 1 mile. 1 MILE. So now they are untrustworthy as well? I have been a loyal Acura owner since 1997. I am shocked with the recent service at Ferman Acura for my 2015 MDX. I have referred multiple people to this dealership to get what I feel is one of the best cars on the market. I have no idea what has caused the change. Is it because I did not but the car new? It is because it is warranty work? Did the mission or service leadership changed? I was told a week ago the service manager will call to discuss my concerns. Never called. I have a friend who works with the fixed operations VP (Glen) and he was not happy at all with what he was hearing. I was told he will be in touch too. Never called. My family has bought Ferman products exclusively since we moved to Tampa in 2006. We have purchased a Chevy Camero, two Harley Davidson motorcycles, and two Acura MDX’s. All of the service for these products have been at the respective dealer’s service departments as well. I would like to receive a call from someone who has the authority to address and correct these issues. Unless these issues can be remedied, my family will not be purchasing ANY Ferman products in the future. Thank you. More
