My new job is to negotiate everything, and then have one of them come in to the dealership, write the check, get in her new car and drive away into the sunset. It actually sounds pretty good........if you can get it to work. The real secret is to find the right car at the tight dealer with the right sales consultant. My daughter told me the car she wanted and I did the rest. At Ferman Acura we found the right car. When I spoke to our sales consultant Noor Shaikh he confirmed the price and confirmed that the car advertised was the exact car we could buy. There were no add on items. The price included a very generous discount, and very favorable terms. I told him that my daughter would be in the following Saturday to pick up the car. He told me that everything would be ready when she got there and it was. He was very helpful, and we were appreciative. That Saturday my daughter picked up her car, signed the papers, wrote the check, and drove away. I would say that this car deal was one of the easiest ever. There wasn't one single surprise, not one! We even received more for the trade in than we expected. Now that's a pleasant surprise. No aggravation, no stress, just a very fair deal. And what is interesting about this deal? It was all done 100% over the phone. And everything they said they would do.........they did. Their word was their bond. . More

Trade-In Relief Had mechanical issues with my late model Acura car and decided to trade it in and was thinking that this would be a nightmare.
