Matt Burne Continues to Be the Best I have driven Hondas since 1984 and have logged over 1,2 million miles driving them. But I have found Matt Burne to be front and center in making sure that the service is done correctly, on-time, and convenient to fit my schedule (which can be crazy at times). The service advisers are friendly, courteous and knowledgeable and go out of their way to keep you informed of what they're doing and why to keep your car where it belongs - on the road. Also, from what I have seen, the staffing in the service department - at least the people that I come in contact with - are the same ones that I have dealt with for the last 11 years (which cannot be said for many dealerships that I have dealt with in the past). As someone who has had Toyotas and GM cars before switching to Honda, I say without a doubt: buy a Honda for the long-haul - and you can't do better than buying it and servicing it at Matt Burne Honda in Scranton. More

Great car, horrible dealership The first issue I had was trying to cancel an extended warranty. The warranty had a 30 cancellation period. Long story short, over a week later the warranty company had to process the cancellation because the dealership did not do it. The next issue was with service. I had a wheel bearing that was bad. When I called to schedule my service the guy was rude telling me he highly doubted a wheel bearing would need to be replaced so soon. I had an appointment on July 3rd to get it checked out. I dropped the car off at 8 am. At 1:15 I had not heard anything so I called. I was told they were still looking at the car. At 3:30 I called again. I was told it was just finished. It was a bearing but they didn't have the part so I would need to come back! I was told the repair would take a half a day. Then when I said I would need a loaner I was told that's not usually possible. I argued that and then someone else stepped in and said they would work it out so I could get one. The next day I was called to see how my experience was. When I gave my negative feedback the woman apologized and said Jack Munley would be calling me the next day. No one called me back. When the part came in and I called to schedule and asked for a loaner I was told the repair would take 40 minutes and they could do it on a Saturday. I brought it in at 9:00. I am writing this as I sit in the waiting room. It is 10:51. When I checked 20 minutes ago I was told the person who scheduled me was wrong and the repair takes at least 2 hours. This is no way to treat customers. I regret buying my car here. I will never come back here for anything. More
