See review of service visit. Brought vehicle in for brake system service. After inspection another problem was discovered that required additional work. The service work was completed in a timely manner and the service staff was courteous, friendly and vey accommodating. My issue revolves around a direct mail offer I received which contained a coupon for complete brake service in the amount of $99.95 per axle. The service manager refused to honor the coupon price because, according to him, the amount was below the profit margin [sic] for the service specified. The cost of the service was clearly stated in the coupon. There was no ambiguity and no vague area subject to multiple interpretations. There was an offer for a discounted price as a concession but the coupon price would not be accepted. This gives the appearance of a "bait & switch" tactic but I have no evidence to support this allegation. More
