We worked out a price and trade for my wife's pilot on Saturday 5/16/20. They said we would like to do the paperwork now as the car may be gone if we didn't act, but the car would be delivered within the next couple of days. They said via verbal that if the car came in and I didn't approve they would tear up the paper work. When I finished the paper work I asked for a copy, they said it would not be necessary since the vehicle would be in by Monday. The car didn't show up for two weeks until 5/30/20. I was promised every few days that it would be in the next day. My salesman did his best. He told me the general manager would call me to tell me what was going on. The general manager never called during my 2 week wait. I also requested my paperwork again during the two week period leaving a message for the Finance manger and having my salesman forward him my email request since the car was not showing up. I had concerns I was liable for insurance without even having a car. I was never given the paperwork. Terrible buying experience. Upon picking up the car on Saturday 5/30/20 4PM. The car had been inspected through service but not detailed and cleaned for receipt. To save a trip back to Slidell, we asked if we could take the car home and have Matt Bowers Metairie closer to our home detail and clean the car. Slidell agreed and said they would contact Jodi the Metiarie general manager to ensure we would be serviced. My wife on Monday 6/1 brought the car told Metiarie about Jodi their GM agreeing to detail the car. My salesman from Slidell also said he texted Jodi upon my wife's arrival and that she would be taken care of. They kept it for a half a day, when she came home she noticed the inside had been untouched. They still had french fries and food in the doors/console cracks, the leather had the same smudges and dirt on it as before when looking in the back etc. Seems they just ran it through the car wash. I called Matt Bowers Metairie, they acted as if they didn't know anything about having to do the detail, which was a lie. They said they thought they just had to wash it. I believe Metairie Matt Bowers didn't want to clean/prep a car already sold from Slidell, but I assume Slidell would have reimbursed them for the detail since it's the same company. Metairie offered for us to bring the car back for a detail. I declined since I would have to waste another day and did not trust it would ever be cleaned, and Slidell offered to buy a tank of gas, which by the way when we took the Tahoe off the lot it only had a quarter tank of gas. A simple gesture from one of the dealerships to come pick up the car, and have it detailed and gassed up like it should have been from the start would have been nice. This is the 10th car I buy in my life, and this was the worse experience I had in the past 20 years. More

Without going into every detail of the day, I can safely say that this was one of the most terrible experiences I have had going to a dealership with the intention of purchasing a vehicle. Several red flags say that this was one of the most terrible experiences I have had going to a dealership with the intention of purchasing a vehicle. Several red flags while we were there and hidden costs associated with purchasing a vehicle that isn’t included in the list price that should absolutely be (not talking about tax title license etc). I purchased a vehicle today elsewhere at a transparent dealership that made me feel comfortable, communicated extremely well, and were specific and upfront when answering my questions. Basically everything you should get when investing in a new vehicle. Do yourself a favor and go to a dealership that cares more about you than a sale More
Bad experience buying a used vehicle. After selling a car out right and trading a car. I would say watch the numbers on the paperwork. They will do anything to make the deal. The salespers After selling a car out right and trading a car. I would say watch the numbers on the paperwork. They will do anything to make the deal. The salesperson didn’t seam like he knew what he was doing. The finance guy Brian was full of s-it. I repeated to the sales guy Several times about keeping the equity in the vehicle I sold out right separate and of course that didn’t happen. They made it appear as though they were giving additional money on the trade. When what they were really doing was taking money from the out right sale and adding it to the bottom line. Watch your numbers. Also witch the smiles they’re just there to get in your pockets. Very disingenuous. More

why would my lug nuts come off during my trip to ohio I have to say my experiences at Matt Bowers Chevrolet was a good one.. My Colorado was overdue an oil change and tire rotation. I took it to this deal I have to say my experiences at Matt Bowers Chevrolet was a good one.. My Colorado was overdue an oil change and tire rotation. I took it to this dealership and all went well.. I left and took a trip pulling a small trailer loaded with my mechanical tools fore I was an auto tech in my past life.. Anyway to make a long story short I arrived at my daughters place and all seemed fine. Then my daughter asked to use my truck to take my grandchildren to the store. She pulled out and all of a sudden my vehicle started making a horrible noise.. After a few minutes of diagnosis time we discovered that lug nuts on my right front wheel had come off and were banging around inside the wheel cover,we put them back on and torqued all the lugs and checked the other wheels for safety. My point is technicians of Matt Bowers Chevrolet should take more pride in what they do.. if my grandchildren would of been hurt in any way my conscious would be bothering me forever how about your conscious technician. just saying because my grandchild Bailey had just graduated kindergarten.. In the future think of this as your warning so you don't kill someone you never met.. More

He was unbelievably helpful, considerate, friendly, understanding, and fair. I also had the occasion to meet other sales representatives who were very kind and patient with me, especially Michael. I'm very satisfied with my beautiful Colorado; beware of OnStar!! Also, must mention Patrick in charge of service. Could not be any cooler or intelligent or committed!! I found that this dealership was really a family that was made up of people who respect each other and care about their business. Would definitely dance over there again! Eldridge is the main man, though!!! More

Poor experience all around sales and service. I ordered a truck from Matt Bowers chevy and had 2 trades. I was given a trade in value on both cars. when my new truck came in they gave me 5,500.00 I ordered a truck from Matt Bowers chevy and had 2 trades. I was given a trade in value on both cars. when my new truck came in they gave me 5,500.00 less on one trade and 2,000.00 less on the other. Unfortunately there was only one allocation for my particular vehicle in the area and they had it. They knew they had me over a barrel so they took advantage of it. This is very poor business. My truck has had a vibration since they day I picked it up. I took it into service and not only did they not fix it they dented my new truck on both front doors opening them up on a rack. They refused to pay for the damages that they caused. I advise everyone not to use this dealer. More
