Matt Blatt Kia engaged in deceptive advertising and sales. I contacted them to purchase a 2024 Kia Carnival listed on their website for $37,715. I was offered $30,000 on a trade in online. The only discussion I had with the salesperson was that I had $10,000 in equity with the trade in and I wanted to stay within my current payment which would have been doable. At no time was the actual price discussed and I was going off what was listed on the website. It was a 5 1/2 hour drive for me and when I arrived they informed me they would only give me $27,000 on a trade in and that there was and additional $4,000 upcharge for the car. Because I was pressed for time to make a purchase and after driving 5 1/2 hours I gave in to the pressure, deeply regretting it afterward. I realized the car was not prepped properly after getting it home which did cause some minor damage. I contacted them to let them know I would not be giving them a good review on the survey from KIA. They had handed me a paper with questions highlighted as to how I should answer it. The manager tried to claim that the salesperson did tell me about the extra charge on the phone. He said he would pull the call to prove it. A week later I contacted them again and was told they didn’t record all of their calls. The salesman then tried to gaslight me into believing he told me. He did not. I was expecting to pay the listed price. They additionally tried to gaslight me by adding a little box to the website showing an upcharge after the fact. It was not there when I originally found and viewed the vehicle. When I called them out on the sneaky move they claimed they hadn’t changed their website in 10 years. I would like other potential buyers to be aware of their unethical practices. I left a comments on my their FB and they blocked me - another deceptive practice. More

For starters, the dealership, like many others, uses AI more than they use actual people. Then, when you finally get a hold of a real person, all they want to do is have you come into the dealership and s more than they use actual people. I was promised several things with the AI and then had to jump through hoops to get hold of the main manager of the dealership. He was much better than his sales individual and thus why it was better to just deal with him. However, and here is the most laughable thing, My trade is worth far more than their vehicle for sale that I inquired about, not to mention, my trade is literally 3 months old and came with a $49k vehicle price. They offered me $27k to $30k for the vehicle and the vehicle has less than 250 miles on it. There is lowballing a customer, and then there is outright making your dealership look like a true stealership, when my very same car is on the lots right now, some with more miles than mine for $40k and up. Please be careful with this dealer. They tried selling me a car that they had listed with numerous features that the car did not have. I asked them to adjust the price as it KBB for $50 They tried selling me a car that they had listed with numerous features that the car did not have. Amazing experience at Matt Blatt Kia of Abington. Damon Abraham was knowledgeable, helpful and created a stress-free, low-pressure sales experience. Highly recommend him! But the dealerships real value became apparent when we had a problem. They advertise a “love it or leave it” guarantee and we can confirm that they mean it. We had a small recurring problem with our new vehicle (it happens) and decided that we wanted to return it. They immediately agreed to switch out our vehicle with a comparable replacement. We unintentionally made it challenging for them by insisting on a specific color and interior. Within a day they had us in a brand-new Telluride that actually had an MSRP of $1000 more than our original purchase. No extra charge to us! Damon, Ettore and the owner Matt all went above and beyond to turn a potentially disappointing experience in a textbook lesson in customer service. Great job! More

When Sussman owned this dealership, online scheduling got an immediate text message confirmation. People become customers through their service experience. Not answering the phone, and failing to return calls, does not instill confidence. In the parts request incident, I used their recommendation for the quicker response. How can I expect good service, when they can't respond in a timely manner in the platform they suggested? More
