From the moment I stepped foot on property a few days ago to today - it has been nothing short of wonderful. This is one of the best dealerships I've ever been to! Make sure you ask for Jeff - he not only handled our needs professionally, but made the experience of buying a new vehicle fun!! He is honest, knowledgeable, and not overbearing. I would highly recommend him as your contact! Also, Kenny (who handled the paperwork/warranty portion of the sale) had me laughing the whole time! I felt like I had known him forever -- he truly made me feel like family. Long story short - Go to Matthews Nissan if you want to be taken care of when you buy/lease your next vehicle! You won't be sorry!! More

Everyone was very nice and professional. I did get it for the advertised price via financing with NMAC and a military discount. They are the cheapest around with a no hassle price which I have to admit is very nice. More
Great Deal First, they include their doc fees in the list price, unlike most dealers so there aren't a bunch of added fees when you get to closing. Second, they First, they include their doc fees in the list price, unlike most dealers so there aren't a bunch of added fees when you get to closing. Second, they were willing to hold a car for me until I could come a couple days later. Thirdly, and most importantly they sold me a brand new versa note for $13,215, with $1500 for my trade in (which is what NADA said I should get), and a 4.83% interest rate. Which is amazing! A dealer closer wanted $14,594 for the same car, but used with 5,000 miles on it. Additionally, the dealer closer to me was only go to give me $500 for my trade in and an 8% interest rate. By going to Mathews I saved $2,379 and got a brand new car on top of it! (On a side note, the interest rate was still a bit high compared to bank rates. But I am currently refinancing for 1.95% with a local bank, so it's a overall win for me.) I should add that my salesman was, Bobby Kingston, the internet guy so he didn't try any tricks, but was straight up with me. More

cheating!! watch and compare your price with paperwork This dealership is cunning and a cheat. None of the figures matches on their paperwork and they con you into buying their car with sweet words. You wo This dealership is cunning and a cheat. None of the figures matches on their paperwork and they con you into buying their car with sweet words. You would think you are getting a good deal. Read everything before you sign. They conned us into buying their extended warranties and told us because of our good credit we are going to cover the cost of it but instead added it on on the price. Especially the finance department watch them the person i dealt with was kenny b. Watch him. Even the sales people wont come on the line. The guy who sold me the car he wont return my phone call either. More
Bait and Switch... at it's Best!!! My friend took me here to purchase a used vehicle as his family had good experiences with Marcus. They had purchased several vehicles from Matthews i My friend took me here to purchase a used vehicle as his family had good experiences with Marcus. They had purchased several vehicles from Matthews in the last year and it was a delight to them. My experience started off good, with marcus doing all the leg work and getting the financing in order on a used Nissan. All 3 vehicles I was looking at, I was approved for with varying down payments. Then the drama started... The used car manager, Winston, threw a fit that I was going through Marcus, with Will being the salesman, instead of Winston. I had to go to the Used car side, so Will could process the paperwork as the rest was done. There I was told there was no way I could get approved for the vehicle I wanted (even though I was approved for the vehicle the night before) and I had to settle for a 5 year older vehicle with more miles and only $2000 less. I smelled a rat, and I protested and they Winston insisted that I had to accept that agreement. I went back to Marcus, with Will and Winston protesting, and told him about the scam. He became upset, and will suddenly exclaimed that there were serious undisclosed mechanical issues with the vehicle. The question of "what issues are there?" was asked and Will could not explain. Marcus tried in vain to recover the deal, but the damage was done. The vehicle that supposedly has mechanical problems was inspected over 2 weeks ago, and listed without any issues and is currently still listed almost a week later as a good vehicle. I will be attempting to contact the owner next to see if he wants to rectify the situation, as he has the final word. If not, I will be reporting this to the State, and Ft. Campbell as Will and Winston commited unfair sales practices in 2 different sections of Tennessee Code Annotated. More
Make sure to rebook over everything before signing. Started out bad just from pulling into the lot. Drove into new cars, got out of my car and the sales person told me to keep driving to the used cars o Started out bad just from pulling into the lot. Drove into new cars, got out of my car and the sales person told me to keep driving to the used cars on the other side. I said I'm buying a new car, he was like oooo right in here than. Then the sales person that helped me didn't know too much about the nissans I was looking at, so I left and came back with my husband. Again sales person didn't know answers to our questions. Than we sat and waited 30 minutes to just get an estimate monthly payment, than other 30 minutes to just sign the paperwork. Than waited another 20 minutes to sit with the paperwork guy. We got the paper it said it would be $22,000 for the car that included taxes, fees, everything. So we started doing the paperwork. When we got home it said $25,000 becuase they added a 6 year warranty that we didn't want. When they took the car to clean it before we took it home, we watched the guy literally drive around for 10 minutes having fun in the car! And when we told the sales man he said "well he must enjoy your new car" like it was a joke! My husband is military so we had to give his company's number, and our cell numbers. They have called the company every time trying to get ahold of us, and even with us telling them to call our cells they still call the company instead of the cell phones. (My husband has gotten in trouble for this) More
Got a nice car for nice price I was desperately searching for a 2002-2006 Nissan altima. I finally found a beautiful maxima online under matthews Nissan. I was honestly sceptic bec I was desperately searching for a 2002-2006 Nissan altima. I finally found a beautiful maxima online under matthews Nissan. I was honestly sceptic because of all the horrible stories I heard about the MATTHEWS Dealerships in town. I then pursued the vehicle anyway and received a call from Sonny. He was polite and answered every question that I had. He and I texted for 3 days or so before ever meeting in person. I come to the dealership fell in love with this tricked out maxima. I test drove the car to find that things did not feel right. I was told it would get looked at and I can return once it's resolved. I then came back drove the car and it felt great. I was told it was the steering fluid and tires. I sign the paper work and left the dealership. While driving the vehicle it jerked forward and scared my son to death! I knew something was wrong! But I signed AS IS! I was so nervous and scared about being stuck with a car payment and car that did not work. I barely slept that night thinking and worrying. I called friends and they all said that it was the transmission. I had a friend that works for Nissan confirm it was the transmission. I then mustard up courage to call Sonny at the dealership. He was surprising willing to help! I felt like I could breath a little. He told me to come back that Monday with the car and they'll look again. When I returned they gave me 2006 to drive while they looked into it. I was interested in a manual 2003 altima so they got the maxima and the 03 looked at for me. I drove the 06 for 3 days and returned to the dealership. The 03 checked out and I gave the 06 back and they allowed me to drive the 03 altima for 3 days to make sure it was what I wanted. They canceled the first contract and gave me plenty of time to make sure this is something I wanted. The following Monday I showed up with 03 ready to buy and talk money. BUDDY one of the sales managers was awesome because without him approving me to take these cars off the lot I wouldn't have found the car I really wanted with no pressure. sonny presented me with a FAIR purchase price and sent me to signing. MEL takes care of contracts and was apologetic about my experience with the maxima and went out of her way to find me a key FOB that matched my new car. Unfortunately bad deals happen and horrible experiences remembered but I can honestly say I recommend this team in the car buying process. Thanks SONNY! You're awesome BUDDY! More
