i had bought a 1999 blazer from matera motors for $5000.When the deal was made he had promised to fix a oil leak and replace faulty parts for the deal. When i took the truck home i noticed that the oi $5000.When the deal was made he had promised to fix a oil leak and replace faulty parts for the deal. When i took the truck home i noticed that the oil leak was still present.I then took the blazer to a certified chevy dealer the mechanic handed me a list of problems that made my heart fall out of my chest. He said that matera had not fixed the problem and the man said the best thing would be to take it back it was a lemon. Not to mention i had a warrinty for the engine which matera refused to honor.I fought tooth and nail for matera to fix the problem he promised, not counting the many others.Eventually through contacting autorities he promised to pay for half of the enginge work with help from local legal authority.Well he then took back his word and decided not to help with any of the problems.I was pressured through going broke tring to fight this crook in court or pay myself.I had to invest another $4000 to have the truck run and still to this day i have contuning problems. This man will stab you in the back I DONT LIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!So here is your warning do not buy a car or truck from this man his objective in business is to buy broken cars put a bandaid on it then screw you over so you have to invest thousands into the car.GO SOMEWHERE ELSE More
bought a 99 mazda was in love with car. 1-week after the car over heated i was stuck on the side of the road with my 2 year old child. I called matera motors and they asked me to drive the car to the dealer car over heated i was stuck on the side of the road with my 2 year old child. I called matera motors and they asked me to drive the car to the dealer (I live in naples) so i did. sat and waited for 6 hours for the car to be looked at. Then I was told nothing was wrong with the car. I refused to drive the car home so i was given a loaner car that was CRAP dirty, smoke filled and with a bad tire I was told the my car would be fixed in 24 hours well i was with the car for a week. Then I was told the car was not fix -able so i needed to pick out another car (not offered my downpayment back) I picked out a 96 Acura ( the best car they had on the lot) when I got that car home something was yet again wrong with the car. It has been a year and I have put @ $4,000.00 in repairs in to the car and the transmission is about to go out!!!!!!!!! More
I was looking for a car, so I went to Matera, as I had heard nothing but good things about them. I was immediately given a loan, I just had to pick out the vehicle I wanted. It took me a couple of days. W heard nothing but good things about them. I was immediately given a loan, I just had to pick out the vehicle I wanted. It took me a couple of days. When I drove the car, it was ok, and I was noticing a couple of things wrong with it, so I pointed them out. I was told Matera would take care of fixing it by the time I picked up the vehicle. They did not. I was told I could bring it back in and have it fixed, and I could split the cost of having one of the windows fixed. They would loose too much money on it if they paid for it themselves. Of course, that is not what I was originally told. I was disappointed in that. That was not the repsonse I was looking for from the dealership when they originally told me they could have it fixed. More

I purchased a used car from this dealership and within a month the entire engine had literally exploded. Instead of standing behind their product and admitting that the engine was in fact from a junkyard, Matera Motors promptly dismissed my claim and treated me with none of the courtesy that they did before they realized they had made a mistake in not disclosing the condition of the vehicle. A complaint has been filed with the West Florida Better Business Bureau about this matter, and a lawsuit is being compiled as of the time of this letter.<br> More
