It was great speaking with you on the phone, sir. As discussed, this was not the correct store that had the Escalade listed. Additionally, as noted on our website, pricing for Escalade V models indicates “please call dealer for pricing.” You mentioned that you prefer not to speak on the phone; however, when you inquired online, our third-party AI system responded that the vehicle was available. You also shared that dealerships in your area have market adjustments. We sincerely apologize for the two-hour drive. As discussed, we did offer to fill your gas tank, as there was no prior call to speak with a live representative to confirm the vehicle was ready and available upon arrival. We strive to operate with the highest level of integrity and transparency. There are no market adjustments on our vehicles except for the V models, which is clearly stated on our website and which you confirmed you had seen online. I appreciated your call Jay. It should not matter which Massey location, they are all part of the same company. No matter how you try and spin this, I have two offers with pricing from your dealership, one by text, one by email. No mention of a “market adjustment” is mentioned. You say it’s supply and demand, and that customers were buying to resell at a profit, so you folks are choosing to have a “market adjustment”. That just boils down to just plain greed. And I in no way, accept your apology.
