Hello Mr. Mandarino and I understand that your group just recently took over Maserati of Tampa, and therefore I have been patient with your service department Mandarino and I understand that your group just recently took over Maserati of Tampa, and therefore I have been patient with your service department during this transition. But now I would like to explain a problem that I am having with service and need to get you involved. I own a 2019 Levante and on the morning of January 20th, I called service and left a voice mail Zakar Nathaniel to let him know that my backup camera bracket had broken and to make an appointment to bring it in for repair. Since I had not heard back from him, I texted a message at 2:10PM to his cellphone, and included 2 photos of the problem. At 4:46 PM, Zakar sent me a text message to send him a photo of my mileage to send to Maserati and get this part ordered under warranty, and then I only had to make one trip to get it repaired when the part arrived. This made good sense, so at 4:50 PM, I sent him a photo of my odometer at 35,977 miles. I called the morning of February 2nd to check on my part; and not hearing back I then texted him at 1:55 PM. Never heard from Zakar, and so I called again the morning of March 2nd, and also sent a text message at 11:41 AM. I never heard back from Zakar and called again on March 17th, and had to text him at 6:19 PM as I never heard from him. Out of frustration on Friday March 18th, I called Mack in the parts department to see if my parts had been ordered. Mack had no parts on order for me, but said he would talk to Zakar & get back to me. I told Mack STOP, as I heard that before....and asked Mack how long it would take to get the bracket or backup camera. He said his orders usually came in next every Thursday, but if is was a warranty item; then he could get it the next day. I told him that I was told this was warranty as the bracket broke. He said then I would have to bring the car in Monday so a tech could look at it and make sure it was a warranty item and then order the item for next day delivery. Mack would have Zakar call me for an appointment. NOT trusting Zakar to call me, I called service to make an appointment and the lady told me she could not make an appointment for me until Thursday. I explained how long I have been waiting for Zakar to call me, and that I just need a Tech to examine the part & get the part number to make sure they could order the correct part ( which should only take 10 minutes), and she said she would male a screen shot of my call, and send it to Zakar to try to get me in for Monday. Zakar never called and therefore I come to your service department Monday at noon, and would request that after all this trouble you have a Tech look at my vehicle and order the correct part. If you need to speak to me or would like me to forward you copies of my Texts to Zakar, please call my cell. Frank, When I didn’t hear back from you by 6 PM on Monday as indicated in your Saturday email below, I decided you were no better than Zakar Nathaniel, and so on Tuesday morning I called Maserati of Central Florida in Orlando for service. Low & Behold Maserati of Central Florida was able to schedule me for Yesterday ( Thursday 3/24/22 ) at 1:00, and had the pairs in stock to do my repair that your service manager, Zakar Nathaniel , could not obtain since my first inquiry on January 20th. But in just 2 days my problem was fixed at Maserati of Central Florida- therefore maybe you should send your parts & service managers there for training in customer service & retention !! By the way, for your information I have still not heard from Zakar since January 20th, which is surprising because around 5 PM yesterday on my drive home from Orlando, I had called your sales department to speak to Joe Cruppi, but whoever answered the phone in sales told me that Joe Cruppi was no long working there; which in my humble opinion is a Hugh loss for your dealership because Joe Cruppi was the most knowledgeable & professional Sales Manager that I had ever met. However that person did mention on that call, that I should expect a call from Zakar to set a service appointment soon, as my parts had FINALLY arrived that morning. I told him to tell Zakar that I had already had the repair completed at another dealership. Lastly, the reason I had called for Joe last night was to cancel my name on his wait list to order my 2023 Gran Tourismo Convertible, as I will now be purchasing that vehicle from Maserati of Central Florida; where I know I will get prompt service in the future! Frank there is an old Sicilian saying –“The Fish Rots from the Head Down”; so if the General Manager can’t even Keep His Word to call a customer with a problem, I DO NOT want to deal with that dealership in the future. We had an amazing experience purchasing our Vehicle From Maserati Tampa. From being greeted by a very friendly face (Dennis) to working with Bud and Chris with our trade-in value we were throughly happy al Maserati Tampa.
