Martin Chevrolet sales department reflects a serious breach of trust and professional conduct. After searching for over six months for the right truck, I found a good deal at another dealership. Jerry, breach of trust and professional conduct. After searching for over six months for the right truck, I found a good deal at another dealership. Jerry, a sales rep at Martin, assured me that they could match the deal. He spoke with management, and after some negotiation, provided me a buyer’s order in writing with the agreed price — Keep in mind this was a price agreed IN WRITING. I moved forward with GM financing, got approved, and thought the deal was finalized. However, to my surprise, Jerry informed me when we went to close that Martin Chevrolet would not honor the agreed price and wanted to charge me thousands more! Initially, I thought this must be a misunderstanding. But I learned that the dealership had deliberately applied an IRS tax credit that I had told Jerry upfront did not apply to the 2024 Silverado — something I clearly communicated during our very first call. This IRS incentive was applied to make the price appear lower. Martin Chevrolet had already applied a Chevrolet discount, which cannot be combined with the federal tax incentive — a fact stated clearly on Chevrolet’s own website. Yet they moved forward with this pricing tactic, knowing it was dishonest. Here’s the worst part: by the time Martin told me they wouldn’t honor the deal, the original truck from the other dealership had already sold — meaning Martin’s bait-and-switch cost me the opportunity to buy the truck elsewhere at that price. I spoke with two managers, Chris and Chris Gottslig -who promised to get back with me, I did not hear back from him. Jerry sent me a new quote, $1,500 higher than our written agreement. I met with the dealership owner, Janet Clark, who was nice and respectful. She admitted an error was made but refused to honor the price I had been given in writing, even though another dealership had successfully completed the deal at that amount. I had: A written buyer’s order from Martin Chevrolet, matching the competitor’s price. GM financing approved. Clear and documented communication regarding incentive eligibility. What I lost: A legitimate deal with a reputable competing dealership. Time, trust, and energy after six months of research and effort. I don’t know how this practice is legal, but I do know that it is dishonest and misleading. Martin Chevrolet used a deceptive pricing tactic to lure me in, knowing the final price would change — and they did not hesitate to back out of a written agreement when it no longer suited them. This has been a horrible experience. I recommend you stay away from Martin. More
Worst scammers lol . . they thought they had me and thought they were going to make a scam sale. Edna, with a name like that I would assume you had integrity. I told her . they thought they had me and thought they were going to make a scam sale. Edna, with a name like that I would assume you had integrity. I told her I had equity in my trade in. Did she listen ? Nope. Wasted my time by asking for all my personal information , did not want to acknowledge my prequalified letter , and wanted me to have put more down when I did not HAVE TO!! Anyone that does wrong by me NEVER prosper! Good luck Edna! And Martin Chevy… count your xxxx DAYS!!! More
Bad experience! Drove 70 miles to test drive an Encore GX in a color I wanted only to be offered less than 1/3 value of trade in while sticker price was jacked up Drove 70 miles to test drive an Encore GX in a color I wanted only to be offered less than 1/3 value of trade in while sticker price was jacked up with mandatory add ins. They expected me to buy at near sticker price with a trade in and 5-7k down. Pure greed and arrogance. More
Dishonest on trade values! I have no complaint with the salesman Michael Ballard. He only did what he was told by the sales manager. I traded in 2 vehicles, a 2005 Chevrolet ¾ t I have no complaint with the salesman Michael Ballard. He only did what he was told by the sales manager. I traded in 2 vehicles, a 2005 Chevrolet ¾ ton crew cab w/ 4 WD, diesel that had less than 25k miles and in excellent condition. I also traded a 2014 Mercedes C250 sedan with 5k miles. After almost 2 hrs. of going back and forth the sales manager told my salesman they couldn’t give me more than 41k for the 2 vehicles. This process included at first not honoring the internet price. According to all trade in values I researched the value of both vehicles and found the value at the least 46k. A friend was interested in the truck and called in the AM on the 11th. After calling 3 times he was told the truck had already sold that morning. He asked the price and was told for 25k. I DO NOT like being lied to. I blame your sales manager. I know you are in business to make money, but I think 6500. on one trade is too much. I went in with trade in values I had researched and had online offers above what you allowed. I have purchased 8 new vehicles in the last 6 yrs. and this was the first time I traded. You got to me this time, but you will never get another chance. I told the salesman that that was the first time I had ever purchased a vehicle without pricing other dealers. Shame on me! Thanks for the worst auto deal of my life and I will let all know about this. Your reputation of being dishonest with customers will hurt you and your dealership. More

There is little doubt that a finer Ferrari dealership exists in all of the U.S. The sales staff is exemplary; from Mike Herbert (General Sales Manager) to Bill Hurley (Finance Manager) to Chris Miller (Detail Executive). Ben Casper is without question the finest Service Representative I have encountered in all of my considerable years of making such purchases. More
