I was given a cash price of $48,500 for a 2022 Dodge Ram by a sales person, over the phone. I drove two hours one-way to purchase the truck. I drove two hours one-way to purchase the truck. When I arrived, the sales manager refused to sell me the truck at the agreed-on price. Instead, he insisted on an additional $1000 just because I was paying cash. He also informed me that he felt in no way obligated to honor the salesperson's agreement, despite the fact that I drove over 300 miles roundtrip based on the word of the salesperson, and despite the fact that the salesperson had cleared the price with him while I was on the phone! xxxx Poor Service. This is my 3rd go round in less than a year with the 2nd vehicle I bought from there. I have a wheel sensor wire hanging down, broke off. Th This is my 3rd go round in less than a year with the 2nd vehicle I bought from there. I have a wheel sensor wire hanging down, broke off. They told me Friday they would call me Monday to schedule an appt. to fix it, after telling me it would be $350 after warranty coverage-for a $30 wire. Needless to say, noone has even called yet. I could have lost my abs by now! So, shame on me for buying from them twice-but this place has just lost a customer forever. Terrible. More
First day found out sync didn’t work, they don’t care! Expect us to cover and had to take time to take to service center an hour away! Have been treated rudely by all since sale! Do not recommend! Interesting Drew B. came down from the Jackson store to make the sell. What a wonderful guy! Kind courteous and helpful. 5 stars to drew all the way around. Very Drew B. came down from the Jackson store to make the sell. What a wonderful guy! Kind courteous and helpful. 5 stars to drew all the way around. Very knowledgable and friendly. Overall disappointed in the wait time I had while purchasing my car. I was there for over 6 hours and only test drove the car I ultimately was buying. Nice cars, but the lethargy of some staff (appraisal team/loan man) was very evident in my day spent there. If you're going to this location, be prepared not to go anywhere else that day. Outside of that I am a very proud owner of a 2018 Buick and I am very thankful to Drew for going above and beyond. More
Ridiculous First, let me begin by saying this was my second visit to this location in the last two years. After my first visit, I went to another dealership and First, let me begin by saying this was my second visit to this location in the last two years. After my first visit, I went to another dealership and bought a vehicle brand new because they were so horrid. Buying a vehicle is a huge commitment. I don't ever visit a dealership without doing my due diligence on the vehicle I am going to look at and test drive. I recently visited this location to look at the model of the vehicle I am planning on buying. They had two different years, the newest being a 2018. I fell in love with the 2018, but wasn't sold on the color. However, the price was right so I was willing to see what they were willing to do. I brought in my spotless vehicle (garage kept), 2016, one owner, less than 20,000 miles, you get the idea. My car is in perfect condition, and because I am not an ignorant buyer. I knew what my vehicle was worth per NADA guidelines. I also know what other dealerships within a 100 mile radius were selling my exact (year, trim level, features, etc) vehicle for. We started the process, and our salesman brought out the folder with their numbers. I'll tell you the truth, I laughed at him. The value they put on my car was seriously laughable and insulting. Per NADA guidelines for my year, miles, trim level. They offered me significantly less. I told him that would have to change. No deal unless they offer me at least close to what it's worth. I went outside, he came back within I would say 15 minutes, and asked me to come in. Sitting at his desk, is the man who appraises the vehicles that come in and go out. As soon as he opened up the folder, and I saw that the figures didn't change on my vehicle or the one I was considering purchasing, I knew where this was headed. He proceeded to try to tell me that I was wrong, even though I had the facts right there in front of both of us. He proceeded to argue with me and insult my intelligence. In short we all know that the prices listed on the vehicles on the lot are not what they gave for them. They have to make a profit somehow, but one this steep is crazy. Long story short, based on the current market of buying and trading in if I took the deal they offered I would have easily made them $12,000 or more in one transaction. That is crazy. They offered me 3,000 below what my vehicle is worth, and could have easily turned around and sold it for 21,000 per the current market for that exact vehicle. Based on the offer they gave me and what they could have sold it for that's around a 5-6,000 profit for them. Based on the price they had on the vehicle I was considering buying, I can only assume they treated that person or couple the same way, and probably got that one for a steal as well. So let's say when that individual traded in, Mark Porter and Co also upped the trade in to retail by 6,000. That my friends is a huge profit for them, while the rest of us are getting swindled and for lack of a better term screwed. This is not okay. It's also not okay to treat potential customers/buyers like they are ignorant when they obviously know just as much or more than you. I don't claim to be an expert on all vehicles, and the employees who work here definitely have more experience than me, but I am not an ignorant buyer, never have been. Please do yourself a favor and do your research. I have no doubt that they will sell that car, and they will probably get their asking price, it just won't be to me. This is my second awful experience with this dealership, I won't be giving them a third chance. As for their redeeming qualities, Doug our potential salesman was extremely nice and helpful. The appraiser Ron however was condescending and rude. Obviously he makes them plenty of money, but his customer service needs serious work. More
