I was surprised they washed my car, It needed it badly but I wasn't expecting it to be washed there. That didn't happen at the last dealership I visited. The staff also checked to make sure my recalls were caught up with. It was just a nice all around experience. More
Beware.. Came in for a charging issue. Diagnosed as an alternator issue. Had an extended warranty purchased from North County Cadillac with the purchase of my Came in for a charging issue. Diagnosed as an alternator issue. Had an extended warranty purchased from North County Cadillac with the purchase of my CTS-V. Instead of just replacing the alternator, service tech identified replacement cold air intake and claimed car was modified to warranty company who refused the claim and cancelled the warranty, despite identifying the intake had nothing to do with the failed alternator, and unrelated to the problem. Chevy Volt Powertrain Fail - Mark Christopher dealer denied I did lease 2013 Chevy Volt from Mark Christopher Auto Center in Ontario CA for 39 month 48,750 Miles. Exactly after 36 months when the Odometer is at I did lease 2013 Chevy Volt from Mark Christopher Auto Center in Ontario CA for 39 month 48,750 Miles. Exactly after 36 months when the Odometer is at 46K miles (Of which only 18K on powertrain) powertrain failed which is out of Bumper to Bumper warranty. Even the Powertrain is under warranty for 5 years/100K miles the dealer denied to cover the repair under warranty. Warranty manual mentions powertrain is warranted for 5 Years/100k, but dealer denied service mentioning Coolant HOSE is broken and caused powertrain fail, Hose is out of warranty so denying service. It's brand new car and serviced by dealer regulary, but dealer/manufacturer still denies service under warranty and given estimates of $1400 for further investigation and repair can go upto $6000. This really sucks on brand new CHEVY VOLT failure. More

They were trying to sell me a truck underrated for my needs. Even though I made it clear what the use was. Found that the sales staff at both Mark Christopher and Mountain View Chevrolet are mostly young and poorly trained and only concerned with making sales and getting to the next customer. I had to finish a business call before I exited my vehicle so I was observing the sales staff just standing around on there phones. The conversations that I could overhear were totally inappropriate anywhere except on a construction site. Whomever runs the sale team should be terminated! Service department. Better off going to Pep Boys as far a workmanship. It's so very clear that they are not paying for quality employees at both of their dealerships. I have tried both Mark Christopher and Mountain View Chevrolet and every single visit I had issues from small to VERY HAZARDOUS. My first brake job they did not properly tighten something and right in the middle of the freeway my wheel locked up! Almost hit another car! Ruined the tire and rim. I got back in my truck to find the turn signal lever broken hanging by some wires. They tried to say it came in that way. My cab camera showed different! I showed the service writer the video and they changed their tune real quick. They didn't have one in stock so I had them take one off of a new truck on the lot. Got home from basic oil change and tire rotation. Heard something rattling on the way home. Lifted the hood and the air box was not clipped shut and they forgot to reset the tire pressure sensors. Had a defective vent actuator. They had to remove the dash for the repair. When I got back in the truck the dash wasn't even installed (just hanging by one clip) and scratched all up along with the instrument cluster. So they had to pull all of that out of a new truck on the lot. I wasn't leaving till it was right! All in all. Employees are a reflection of the owners. I don't know them but they can't be blind so that just means that they only care about making vehicle sales and not the true needs and concerns of the customer. Each of my visits I met other customers in the waiting room and I'm not the only one having these issues. I would highly recommend additional training of all employees at both dealerships. With all the mistakes being made something is going on. It's either they are not top mechanics in the field as they should be at a dealership. More

Great when you buy, but not helpful when vehicle has issues. First and foremost when I purchased my vehicle everyone was great to me and I loved the dealership even referring 3 family members who purchased new v First and foremost when I purchased my vehicle everyone was great to me and I loved the dealership even referring 3 family members who purchased new vehicles (2015 Corvette, 2014 Suburban LZ & a 2014 Spark) from this dealer. So anyways I Took the vehicle in for a simple oil change and to check the AC since it has stopped working. Mind you my vehicle is a 2014 with 6000 miles on it. I was notified that their was 2 recalls on the vehicle that I knew nothing about and was never notified about via email or regular mail. They had my car for 4 days before even calling me to let me know anything. Come to find out they don't have the recall parts for one of the recalls so they would need to keep it longer. During this time I did my research on all GMC recalls and there is currently 4 recalls on my vehicle. I called the service agent to ask him what about these other recalls and he had no idea about them saying GM must not of contacted the dealer about the other 2 recalls. One of the recalls was on the seat belt anchors needed to be replaced cause the anchors were coming out of their welds. So basically wearing a seat belt is pointless cause in impact they could just come disconnected from the vehicle. So 6 days now they had my vehicle and I finally get a call at 5:55pm 5 minutes before they close letting me I know I could pick up the vehicle. I ask if 2 recalls they know about have been fixed and the agent response "No the seat belt recall was not fixed we are waiting for parts could take 1-2 weeks" I asked so you want me to drive my vehicle around with my children in the car with seat belts that can break at the welds? The sales manager responded "It's fine not that serious just drive carefully" REALLY??? So I asked the sales manager if he would drive his family around in it and he responded "I have a Tahoe so I'm not sure never drove a Acadia" Another backhanded response. Mind you this vehicle has a DO NOT SALE order with all dealerships due to these recalls. The dealership cannot even let customers test drive them right now but they want me to put my family at risk? I even asked about just trading the vehicle in and the sales manager didn't even try to sell me another car but kept sending me to the service manager to figure out what we were going to do. Ended up arguing with them for 2 hours about this and ended up leaving the vehicle there until they fixed everything cause there was no way in xxxx I was putting my family in it with the issues not being fixed. I will NEVER do business with this dealership ever again. I will be sending this to GM & every review board to make sure other potential customers do not get treated like that. End story after 10 days I finally got my vehicle back and now waiting until Mark Christopher gets recall notices from GM about the 2 new recalls which one is serious (gear shift cable) More
