Bodywork, Certified Pre-owned, I bought a used vehicle (2015 Acadia, Certified Pre-owned, CPO), and it had a dent by the right rear door. The dealership agreed to fix it. They sen I bought a used vehicle (2015 Acadia, Certified Pre-owned, CPO), and it had a dent by the right rear door. The dealership agreed to fix it. They sent it out to a body shop. Upon getting the car back I was shocked at the condition it was in. There was mud on the outside of the car. They must have left the door & window open, when it was sanded and painted. The interior was completely covered with dust and fingerprints. The body shop should have cleaned it, before it was returned to the dealership. Marchese should have inspected and checked the inside of the car before returning it to me. I cleaned some of the interior of the car myself, for several hours, but called Marchese, and spoke to the salesperson, who agreed to detailing it. the next time I brought it in for service. A month later the paint started chipping where the repairs were made. I brought it back and they said they would bring it back to the same body shop to have it corrected. I was not very happy about that, since the work was not done correctly the first time. They said it would get repaired correctly and then detail the car as well. Upon picking it up the 2nd time there were still chips in the paint and the inside of the car was not touched at all. I went to complain to the general manager and he practically threw me out of the office. He said they already spent so much money ($800 Bodywork, $140 Detailing) on fixing the car. Not only was he rude but he said this is a used car and going to fire the Salesman! We don't even give this much attention to our new cars was his words. I reminded him that the agreement was that the dent would be repaired. He said he would take it to another shop and have it fixed there. But this was the last time he was dealing with this, so much for bumper to bumper (CPO, 12K miles). I have not taken my car back yet, waiting for a loaner car and phone call from Marchese. it has been over a week. Very poor customer service and not happy with the way they treated me. I just want to get the car fixed correctly and be guaranteed that the paint will not chip again. Right now it's will be going back for the 3rd time to rectify the chipped paint and detailing, maybe! I was told the car was contracted out for the bodywork ($800) and detailing ($140). Marchese should get their money back, they should get reimbursed for the poor quality of the repair and service, because it reflex's upon the dealership. The discharge of the sales person is a reflection of the sales/general manager who he works directly for, personally TMI and unprofessional. - Most Marchese employee's identified where professional and courteous to work with, during the purchase of the Acadia and trying to resolve this issue.
