Laid Back, Best Deal, No Hassle Dealership I used cars.com looking for a specific new Chevy truck. Marchant Chevrolet had the truck with the options and color I wanted. Their listed price was posted lower than all I saw using a 100mi search and I sent a message to the dealer this was something I was looking for. Bill Clem shot back an email right away to let me know this truck was still available. I had to sell another vehicle outright first, and emiled him so. No pressure, 3 weeks and a day later I sold my car and called Bill. Most helpful, right on the phone we talked about all the rebates I might be qualified for, details about the truck, and he sure did his job. I secured the vehicle with a credit card & financed with my credit union which happened that same day with a quick buyer's order from Marchant. It would be 2 days before I went to the dealer to get the truck and we always knew where the other one stood. When I got there, it was ready to go , Bill is very knowledgeable, showed me all the features, test drive, and paperwork all lined up. Met with their finance person which happened to be a fill in, Rob Marchant (the owner) great guy and no drama, no haggle, in and out Done. Nice !!!! More

This is a "Lay Back Place" that Will Not rush you, Will Not pressure you, Will Not give you a lot of slick talk and Will Not give you the old line "What can I do to earn you business". They Do Not say, "Let me see the best the Sales Manager will do for you. The Salesperson takes the easiest straightforward approach by going over the Dealer Cost and adding $97.00 to that cost as his commission. He explained that "both he and the Dealership get incentive payments direct from Chevy to add to the income and that was good enough. " My Salesperson was Bill Clem who listened to my needs and went to work finding what I needed. As he worked for me we had coffee and told a few stories, he had now become my friend. He found me the Chevy Truck I needed at another dealer. That part was turned it over to the manger to get the Dealer Exchange arranged while Bill worked on finding the Flatbed Body (for the truck that we picked out) off an internet website and called them to be sure we had it all correct. These are "Good Old Boys" that love what they do and do it in an OUTSTANDING way. Please check them out and you will enjoy buying a vehicle and not hate doing it. More

The other big name dealership in Charleston had so much haggling, questionable negotiation tactics and very pushy finance personnel. It was a complete opposite experience at Marchant. Bill was personable, nice, accommodating and to the point. There was no haggling and their prices were more than fair.
