Purchasing a car is usually a hassle. First you need to find a reputable dealership recommended by trusted friends or family members. Six months ago I was searching on Reddit for such dealerships in Northern California. Manley Hyundai in Santa Rosa and Central Valley Hyundai in Modesto, CA were the only 2 dealerships that were selling automobiles without any markups. Other dealerships at that time were charging up to $10K markup from MSRP. I then immediately contacted both dealerships to place my name on their respective waiting lists and waited for the phone call. Respective Sales Consultants kept me in the loop as to their incoming inventories during my 6 month waiting period. Myles Coombs from the Manley Hyundai Sales Consultant/ Upgrade Director kept me in the loop and was available when I had questions. This I found was very helpful in developing a key trust between the seller and buyer. He would send me text messages, pix, or links to address my concerns about function and the cost of a new car. This information would then allow me to make the right choice of vehicle that would fit my needs and stay within my budget. I gave Manley Hyundai of Santa Rosa a 5 Star Rating because after driving 2 hours from the East Bay to Santa Rosa, CA. I found that the Manly Hyundai Dealership provides sales and services for both Hyundai and Genesis vehicles; that the facility was very clean and comfortable; the prices are right, and that the staff was very friendly. Mr. Coombs should be congratulated in his friendliness, openness and guidance before, during and after the sale of my new Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Limit vehicle. My experience during this process was seamless and uneventful. Simply said, "MSRP plus 10% for DMV license fee and Sale Tax" for an "Out the Door Price" was not bad. Under MSRP would be better. The only pain that I experienced was when I was writing out the check at the end of the day. Boy did that hurt. More

The sales team is very helpful but Hyundai needs to get its supply chain issues worked out. The demand for plug-ins like my Tucson is high, but their delivery is poor. I WAS glad that Manly is not chargin its supply chain issues worked out. The demand for plug-ins like my Tucson is high, but their delivery is poor. I WAS glad that Manly is not charging a mark-up from MSRP, which Toyota and some other dealers do in California for cars in demand. I shopped around to Subaru and Ford, both of which stopped making plugins-AWDs; KIA, which has even bigger supply chain issues; Volvo, which is too expensive for comparable vehicles; and Toyota, which is gouging $5,000-$10,000 from customers because of its own supply shortages. Honestly, the only reason I bought a Hyundai is because the sales team worked with me, got me a car, apologized for delays, and followed up well. Special thanks to Roque Gambino -- good dude! More
