I would recommend this dealer only for warranty repairs or those which require specialized tools, parts, or procedures, as with the Accord radio display back lighting failure. Scheduling for this warrant or those which require specialized tools, parts, or procedures, as with the Accord radio display back lighting failure. Scheduling for this warranty hose replacement was relatively painless and the repair was completed the same day, although it took longer than estimated due to complications arising from my car being a standard instead of the more common automatic. The delay required special arrangements to pick the car up, which were also accomplished painlessly. This time no additional unnecessary work was recommended. On my previous trip to this dealer (less than 12 months ago) for the radio display back lighting failure, additional work was recommended. It was determined to be unnecessary by my regular mechanic. I have not used this dealer for routine maintenance since my first visit. More
I've stuck with Manchester Honda for service since buying my (at the time new) '07 Accord there. The people there have been great to work with; when my compressor for the air conditioner went out, th buying my (at the time new) '07 Accord there. The people there have been great to work with; when my compressor for the air conditioner went out, they gave me a good break. There is never any attempt to suggest unnecessary service or parts, and with over 77,000 miles on my Accord at this point, it seems to be running at its peak. More
DO NOT GET YOUR CAR SERVICED AT MANCHESTER HONDA! I drive a 10 year old Honda that was purchased and regularly serviced through a private mechanic in town. I brought my car to Manchester Honda because of a r a 10 year old Honda that was purchased and regularly serviced through a private mechanic in town. I brought my car to Manchester Honda because of a recall and while it was getting serviced, I received a phone call from an employee claiming that I had multiple problems with the car that were critical and considered safety concerns. Considering I had an oil change the day before, which checks for many of these issues, I decided to bring the complaints to my TRUSTED mechanic to determine if they were actually a problem. There is no other way to put it except that Manchester Honda LIED about the repairs my car needed. They claimed I had less than a millimeter left on my front brake pads. My mechanic took the wheels off and showed me while the car was on the lift that there were 3 millimeters left on my brake pads, enough for me to drive another 10-15 thousand miles. That is over a year of driving for me, hardly a critical repair! They also claimed that my control arm bushings were cracked, a $400 and something dollar cost for parts alone to repair. I saw these bushings while the car was up on the lifts. NO CRACKS. They also claimed I needed new tires because of a little normal wear and tear. Multiple other problems that Manchester Honda "saw" were looked into and turned out to be false as well. These people are clearly out for as much money as possible and are eager to take advantage of someone they think doesn't know any better. Don't fall for their lies and make sure you get a second opinion before potentially throwing thousands of dollars away on unnecessary repairs! More
I had an issue with a tire I purchased from Manchester Honda. The issue was elevated a few times until it reached Stephen Cohun who exercised the more favorable customer experience compared with the prev Honda. The issue was elevated a few times until it reached Stephen Cohun who exercised the more favorable customer experience compared with the previous service staff who with us on our issue. I'm appreciative what Stephen was able to do for us to iron out our differences. More
Basically I was mislead and cheated. I have a perfectly functioning 2008 Honda Odyssey. Unfortunately the battery died and a AAA tow serive was unable to restart the battery. It was towed to Manchester Hon functioning 2008 Honda Odyssey. Unfortunately the battery died and a AAA tow serive was unable to restart the battery. It was towed to Manchester Honda for battery replacement. When I dropped off the car I left a waiver stating that I do not agree to have repairs done for greater than $200. When I arrived to pick up the car 2 days alter I was given a bill for $457.00. This should never ever happen. No Honda dealer service center should ever charge a Honda owner for $457.00 for a battery. The dealership has not beem receptive to addressing this issue. I recommend that if you have a Honda that gets towed for any reason in Connecticut absolutely DO NOT take it to Manchester Honda because they may take advantage of that situation and over charge you.
