The last few times I have been to Manchester Honda I notice a little decline in overall service, hence the rating of Good. I asked for a ride to the mall while my 3 hour service was performed. One hour later a ride was offered. Very nice driver and service, the wait was, in my opinion, long and I noticed a driver van available. More
Manchester Honda is a wonderful place to buy a car and to get my vehicles serviced. I have bought two cars with them and do most of my service through their service center. After over 5 years of being a cust get my vehicles serviced. I have bought two cars with them and do most of my service through their service center. After over 5 years of being a customer at Manchester Honda I would still recommend them to all my family and friends (even strangers!). I've had good experience with Manchester Honda Sales and Service until now which causes me to reconsider my position. I showed up 5 minutes early for a scheduled 10:30 am appointment fo a simple oil and Service until now which causes me to reconsider my position. I showed up 5 minutes early for a scheduled 10:30 am appointment fo a simple oil change and tire rotation performed which at that time I was informed that it would take 1:00 -1:15 minutes. returned at 11:20 and was given a courtesy acknowledgement from the cashier that the vehicle's paperwork was not there and it was being worked on. There was no further communication untilI me the vehicle in front of the service dept. at 12:20pm to retrieve my form of payment. I then walked back into the cashier expecting to pay for the additional service. It wasn't until 7 minutes later I agreed (as the cashier suggested) to walk out to the service dept. to retrieve the paperwork that was placed on Jeff's desk. This experience could have been made a bit more consumer centric if a little additional communication regarding the delays was relayed to the consumer. More
I have had 3 Hondas all have been serviced at this center. One was purchased there, always very satisfied. Very professional, respectful and accurate in cost estimates. Once again, we have nothing but a horrible experience with Manchester Honda. This is beyond ridiculous. Now, after deciding to take our van to another Honda dealer, did we find out that our van was rec with Manchester Honda. This is beyond ridiculous. Now, after deciding to take our van to another Honda dealer, did we find out that our van was recalled for the steering, and that we have an electrical issue with our 2010 van, that supposedly was HONDA Cerfitified by Manchester. Mind you, this is the second van Manchester has given us, b/c the first one they sold us was in an accident!!! So, the other dealer told us that the reason why our rear window switch broke again, after we brought it back to Manchester to have it fixed and supposedly they fixed it, is b/c there is an electrical problem. The other dealer said they would work on it, but that they don't want to have to take apart the car to fix it b/c if they do, it may not be covered by our warrenty. We even bought the extended warrenty, and the other dealer said that Manchester should fix this problem, that it could be a big fix. He said that the reason why our steering is still not working properly, if b/c it was not aligned correctly!!!! Are you kidding me? This is after we made Manchester aware of the issue twice, and they told us there was NO ISSUE!! They never mentioned the recall! Now, my husband calls Manchester, speaks to a service tech, who put my husband on hold for 4 mins. When the service tech comes back on, he said that his manager told him we have to bring the car in. We have to now take more time off of work to bring the van in. Mind you, we have taken 2 days off plus for this van. The manager said they will not give us a loaner car, that we have to go get a rental car somewhere else. We are DONE with Manchester!!! I will NEVER recommend them to anyone. I am appalled. The Better Business Bureau and many others will hear about our entire experience. More
The oil change service wasn't the perfect service I am accustomed to at Manchester Honda. Difficulties: 1) The team forgot to reset the oil life indicator, I did this myself the next day using advice am accustomed to at Manchester Honda. Difficulties: 1) The team forgot to reset the oil life indicator, I did this myself the next day using advice I got from Google; 2) There was a stain on the driver's seat. I pointed this out at pickup and the team was very responsive getting a cleaner and removing the stain before I left; 3) I left my Odyssey before the dealership opened early in the morning, indicating I would pick it up at 5 pm. At 4:30 I called to see if the car would be ready at 5, and was told it would be. In the past I would receive the call earlier in the afternoon, leaving me less worry about whether the car would be ready or not (my bus ride from Hartford takes a little over a half hour). More
