I travel from North Jersey (nearly 2 hours) to specifically go to Manahawkin KIA. I have tried other dealers in my area, but the level of care, service, communication, organization, and efficienc specifically go to Manahawkin KIA. I was given an estimate to replace a battery, approximately $ 179.95 plus tax. I verified this upon arrival. The estimate was "in writing." Upon completion, I received a bill for $ 318.00. A len approximately $ 179.95 plus tax. I verified this upon arrival. The estimate was "in writing." Upon completion, I received a bill for $ 318.00. A lengthy discussion followed. "Tom" told me I was "given the quote for the wrong size battery." I told him call the cops, I'm not paying, or words to that effect. He said he "made a phone call" and "the best he could do is give me the battery "at about cost" bringing it to $ 214.24 which is $ 40 higher than the $ 179 minus $ 15 coupon plus tax at approx $ 174.87. At no time did ANYONE come out and tell me the estimate was for the wrong battery size, or so I was told. A review of this site shows the employee"s name in at least 2 other complaints. I had my vehicle service there in the past. I won't be back. I will be escalating this. More
