Buying of my Kia Soul I was looking for a Kia Soul and submitted an online request to this dealership. Within less than an hour, I had a quote for the vehicle I was lookin I was looking for a Kia Soul and submitted an online request to this dealership. Within less than an hour, I had a quote for the vehicle I was looking for along with 2 other quotes for similar vehicles. The following day I called the dealership and spoke with Cary Gardner who was exceptional. She answered all my questions and I told her that I would be in the area in about an hour and she told me to come on in for the test drive. When I arrived at the dealership, I was greeted immediately and then taken to see Cary. She went and got the car, we took it for a ride and when we got back I told her that I liked the vehicle however I needed to be out of the dealership in less than an hour in order to get my daughter to her dance class. I said I would probably have to come back another day and she told me no we could make it work. I was extremely impressed with everyone at the dealership. Earlier in the week I had stopped someone in a parking lot admiring their Kia, They too explained how they had originally gone to a few other Kia dealers, but HIGHLY recommended Manahawkin Kia.... They said. "Walk in and ask for the "guy with two first names!" So there I was, two days later asking for that guy...Al Angelo...the guy with two first names... Personality and experience PLUS! His knowledge not only of the Kia vehicles, but leasing vs purchasing, buy out dos and donts and just life in general were far more than expected. We could have sat there for days just talking to him! You see, being life long Ford and Lincoln people, we had been on the fence for weeks about making the switch. To Kia. Well it only took us about 10 minutes with Al to make our decision. Before I knew it I was driving away in a beautiful fully loaded more than expected brand new Kia Optima at a price lower than their competition had offered us! For a lot more car! Manahawkin Kia was great! On our way to Kia my old car broke down and we called Kia and spoke to Woody, who was unbelievably helpful! Not only did he set up a tow for the car, but he sent another car to p broke down and we called Kia and spoke to Woody, who was unbelievably helpful! Woody worked fast and efficiently with us to ensure that we wouldn't leave just settled with a car but satisfied. I now own a 2014 Kia Optima and it is amazing! Out of all the dealers I email, I always look for the responses that have not only the best deal, but also the most sincerity in it. From the very beginning, my dealings with Eric Gardner, the general sales manager at Manahawkin Kia, were professional, courteous, and without condescension. Eric was one of the best prices I received and the most human that I was able to communicate with. Many dealer sales reps sometimes forget that they are in fact talking to a real person who may buy a vehicle from them, and I chose Eric because he never lost sight of that for a minute. He allowed the negotiations to take place at my speed given my busy work schedule and at no point did he try any of the bait and switch techniques that others use. He was respectful of how I wanted to conduct the process and as a result, both sides were happy. We got a great deal and Eric now has a Kia customer for life.
